  2. “I’ve gone from Central Park to the Tokyo Dome, it is a world away, I haven’t seen a stock car since I got here,” he said.” 😂😂😂

  4. After the crap he’s taken this season under exceptional circumstances, this is well deserved for the results he’s achieved with a full squad to choose from.
  5. Absolutely zero chance of that happening so close to the season. You’d need to put boards down to protect the grass from the inevitable crap that will get dropped by the crowd as well as the volume of people standing and walking around on it, even then the boards being down for that length of time would literally kill the grass. It would absolutely wreck an already fragile surface.
  6. There’s already TV’s in the concourse of the Norrie, has been for years. I do know that the club are looking into getting loads of TV’s installed anyway and new ones in Legends/Charlie D’s and are also considering a Sky subscription too, costs permitting.
  7. I was at the ground yesterday and the park was fine, Willie was even cutting it. However, it was flooded on Wednesday, and speaking to Kev, it really does depend on how much rain we get, how windy it is, and whether that dries it out or drives rain into the surface. It really is going to be a case of seeing how much rain falls today/tonight. 🤞
  8. Agreed. I used to buy at least two every game, but have only bought the same number, in total, since it went online. An utterly daft decision that I’m glad has been rectified.
  9. The reserves played Livi at Ainslie park today, and Livi put out a pretty strong team and it finished 2-2. They’re going down.
  10. Delighted with that, he was my MOTM on Saturday, he was absolutely immense in the middle of the park winning every header that came near him. It showed what a thorn in their side he was with them trying to wind him up at every opportunity.
  11. He's actually been at both of those clubs, albeit on a temp basis, the other way round, helping Jason Dair out.
  12. I was there last night and it was really poor. As poor a performance as I can remember us putting in under Clark. However, they played 10 men behind the ball the entire game and weren't really interested in attacking. It was summed up by the big donkey of a centre back smashing the ball into the top row of the stand to clear it with about 25 mins to go under no pressure. Credit where it's due, they defended with everything and probably got a better result than they expected. We on the other hand struggled, as we sometimes do against poorer teams, to be the team with possession, and break them down. We passed the ball so passively in front of them, but with not enough pace or tempo required to create gaps. I was sitting level with the 18yd line in the second half and the amount of time Tierney or Christie had the opportunity to be direct and run at them and checked back to pass it back to Cooper was ridiculous. Cooper's pass completion stats must have been massive. Adams came on and made at least three great runs looking for a ball over the top and was ignored for a pass back along the back line. This was especially annoying when the big centre back couldn't run for the last 20 mins due to cramp, we should have been targeting him all night after that. Sure, I like the passing based possession game, but you have to mix it up and be a bit more direct sometimes. It was far too congested to try and pass through and continuing to do that for 90 mins was playing right into their hands. Having said all of that, I agree with Clark when he says we should be peaking in June and not March. We will also get a lot more room to play, like we did against the Dutch, in the Euros. This is when we are better. We have won only 2 out of the last 19 friendlies, but 15 out of the last 21 qualifiers. Out of the recent run of 7 without a win, we've 4 of the top ten in the World, and played well generally speaking in 3 of those, despite the scorelines. It's not all doom and gloom. ON the booing, I never boo, any team but I could understand why folk did. It was likely due to having to listen to their fans singing 'Scotland get battered everywhere they go' on a loop for 80 mins. Which is galling to hear from a team as poor as them. On booing the national anthem, maybe it's to do with the song being sung by a bunch of Scotsmen from Lanark and Larkhall in the wrong end supporting our opposition. Absolute weirdos.
  13. To be clear, I don't care one bit. Did we not get beat in the final by Killie last year who fielded an almost first string? As has been said, swings and roundabouts.
  14. You'd be fuming if you're an Accies player 🤣
  15. If we'd stayed in the hoose, we'd have saved our eyes from that abysmal performance and also not all got covid. It was a ****e day all round.
  16. You had the best view for most of the game 🤣

  19. Thing is, there’s no glory yet, they’ve not won anything and aren’t even guaranteed in doing so either.
  20. Sliding into Saturday like...It's almost as if they've spent the entire season ****ing everyone else off... The entitlement from that lot when they'd struggle to fill a bath for the last 25 years is hilarious
  21. I reckon I've paid for at least two of our loan players at this point...
  22. I don't have a problem with it as a ST holder. I don't buy it for any other reason than it gives the club money up front at the start of the season and it guarantees my seat. This is actually the first time in a long time I've not actually missed a game at home anyway, so I don't see it as missing out. I'd rather the club do everything they can to get bums on seats and people through the gate to make as much money as they can. If you're a fan complaining about losing money to this, then I'd argue you're not that much of a fan, the money is spent. As someone pointed out above, it's no different from buying a a pair of trainers for full price and seeing them go on sale two months later. Surely the club making as much as they can is the priority? I, and most fans I know, spend a lot of money in the club every season through various other outlets like the club shop and bars and do so with the intention of getting something for their 'donation' but treat it as such. I buy kits and barely wear them, I spend about £25-£40 every home game in Charlie D's/Legends. I could easily not do those things but do so knowing I'm putting money in the coffers and that's why I do it.
  23. It always impresses me when folk remember this stuff in detail, I can barely remember what the score was three weeks ago.
  24. Yeah, it was a pretty adamant answer to the questions of why we haven't published P&L. Another fan rep answered that small companies don't have to, which he was correct in that we utilise the 'small company' rule to allow us to do that, but it was quickly followed by David Cook saying that we have never published P&L. Now, he could have been mistaken or didn't know, or he could have meant, '...in his time there'. That wasn't made clear though.
