SanguinePar
Hey admin folks - what's the difference between a little black star next to a post and a little black circle? As far as I can see both do the same thing. Not important, just curious :-)
Deutsch Par
To be honest I don't think there is any difference other than an aesthetic choice from the host site.
Vinnie
Are stars posts started by Admin? Dots are the minions?
Deutsch Par
Are stars posts started by Admin? Dots are the minions? That can't be it. VOX's thread about the 50/50 draw is a starred thread...
Vinnie
Yep, I went back and had another look, and realised that. Could it be based on the number of views or replies? Perhaps if it had, at some point, been a HOT topic?
Vinnie
Just looked again now Im on the PC in the office rather than mobile on the bus. Top of the page, on the right hand side shows a tick to supposedly indicate that a thread has been read, and a star to supposedly indicate new content. Could this be part of the answer? And instead of being Vinnie, perhaps I should be Inspector Clouseau?
