That's correct. Preparing for the present main stand being built.

Think this has been posted before, but it gives you an insight into how it looked before the 60s. The NW embankment part certainly looks like you could cram a few bodies in. You can also see the untouched shed with the white roof at the back of the main stand from the picture above.

Best days of my Pars supporting life under Bert Paton. The football was superb. Goals galore.

I was 19 on that day. Remember drinking in Sinkies before the game and hordes of Pars fans about the Town. What a buzz before and after that game. Bert Paton....what a man. The true Mr Dunfermline.
