Deutsch Par
in 1885 at 8pm a group of lads met in the Old Inn having been excluded from playing for Dunfermline FC if they didn't wish to join the cricket club so they decided to form their own club and named it Dunfermline Athletic Football Club.
Keyser Soze
Just reminded me it’s day one of England New Zealand. That’s today sorted. Let’s see what new way they have of making an absolute mess of it.
Yorkie
Maybe we could mark “founding day” by finding a new player.

DA-go Par Adonis
They were 60 odds for 1 when I last saw it... Looks like draw backers will need some rain.
Keyser Soze
They were right to bring Broad and Anderson back into the fold but in doing so that comes with a very long tail. Given that you’d be looking at Root, Stokes and Bairstow to step up and only one of them (Root, 11) made double figures. Could probably afford to lose two entire days play and the draw still wouldn’t be on the table tbh. SanguinePar
Just watched the highlights there, looked like a nasty one for Leach, hope he's ok. Impressive stuff from the lad Potts, 4-13 at Lord's in your debut is fabulous. Anyway, happy birthday Pars, or whatever..
Keyser Soze
Hell of a test match. 61 needed with 5 wickets in hand. England should see it out but that loooooong tail is a concern. Edited June 4, 2022 by Keyser Soze

scottyboy
I'm sure a good 30 years ago, it must have been one of the only sports where players got stoned. Sure it must be different now. Guys fae ma work back in those days used to tell me anything went. It could just be an unsubstantiated rumour though.
