Anyone know if Chico’s is open pre match today, could murder a Staropramen before the match.

Never knew they sold that in Charlie Ds. Far superior to Tennants. You ken all about it the next day,  especially after half a dozen. Wished they sold Red Stripe, so they could compete with Raffles. I'm taking the car today, so won't be indulging.

Sold it for a while in both bars. It’s a tasty pint.

Red Stripe on the other hand, I wouldn’t clean the drains with, it’s worse than McEwans and that is saying something.

Cleaning drains with lager would be daft so you’re bang on with that tbf

Has the affect of cleaning out the main drain on me. Only time I really drink lager is pre pars or pre rugby, straight through me like a racehorse, pity I’m no hung like one.

Been a while since I had Red Stripe, but I remember it being alright. Quite weak too, so you can have a few without getting too plastered.

4.7%  Usually by can 8 you'll know about it lol

On can 5, so still coherent and stable.

Red Stripe, like many drinks used to be a nice pint, iirc was 5.5 or 6% when I was late teens/ early 20's.

Last time I had it I wasn't impressed, many brewers have altered their products to below 5% for duty reasons...

That’s why Elvis juice went back to 6%, the 5% version was crap. Stella used to be a decent pint on tap but wouldn’t thank you for it now.
