Premiership / Championship play offs

Now we have reached the championship it will be interesting to see what the final make up of teams we are likely to face next season. With three teams at the bottom of the Premiership separated by a single point Dundee Utd, Kilmarnock & Ross County the outcome of who will drop down to Championship is not clear. However, there is a host of games on tonight to determine the outcome of who will challenge for a Premiership play off place: Partick v Queens Park with Ayr Utd to play the winner and those teams who will try to gain a Championship play off place. In the mix and also playing tonight is Airdrie v Falkirk & Alloa v Hamilton. Still lots to be decided and a lot that remains unclear. What is clear is the thus far we will be facing:

Arbroath

Raith

Morton

Inverness Cally

So it'll be:

  • The Pars
  • Plus these four: Arbroath, Raith, Morton, Inverness
  • Plus 1 of these 3: Dundee Utd, Kilmarnock & Ross County (possibly also St Johnstone, Motherwell and Livi, but very unlikely)
  • Plus 2 of these 3: Partick, Queens Park, Ayr Utd
  • Plus 1 of these 6: Dundee Utd, Kilmarnock, Ross County, Partick, Queens Park, Ayr Utd (possibly also St Johnstone, Motherwell and Livi, but unlikely)
  • Plus 1 of these 4: Hamilton, Falkirk, Airdrie, Alloa

Clear as mud! 😁
