livipar2
For me it was when none of the ownership group and a lot of the Board weren’t present for the first home League game of the season. Against Falkirk. I mean if you aren’t attending that what’s the point?? And not DC’s fault.
El Patrón
I feel if David Cook is happy to take instruction from the owners and be their "boots on the ground" and pick up his monthly salary, then it should be a two way street. He should be stepping up and banging the drum on behalf of the fanbase to the owners that there is serious discontent building and that things are going to reach boiling point very soon unless they come out and tell us what is going on. He maybe has and they are not listening? Who knows? Things nearly spilled over on Saturday in the main stand when a few concerned fans decided to let Cook know how they felt about the current situation. That was only a handful of guys, but if things carry on as they are at the moment, then that number is going to increase, which nobody wants. They are happy to keep asking us to put our hands in our pockets all summer for the fanzone, season tickets, matchday tickets, hospitality, 50/50 tickets, a new strip every 3 weeks........ but we were "closing in" on a keeper over 2 weeks ago (after 4 competitive games without a proper backup) and we still don't have one? Why? The other thing that has been bugging me is that clearly McPake wanted to sign Giosue Bellagambi & Adam Supyk as they were each on trial for 3/4 games. Why would a player continually risk his livelihood to play competitive games risking injury for the same club non stop, without believing they were going to get signed? Surely McPake & McKay would have seen enough in one or two games plus a weeks worth of training to see what standard they were and decide if they wanted them? They didn't keep the boys Flynn and Cooper hanging around long after the East Fife game. So it looks to me as though the manager wanted to sign them, the board kept stringing him along with "we will see what we can do", McPake is telling the players he is keen to sign them and the board are working on something as that is what he believed. The offers never came, players lost patience and had to look after themselves and try and get signed up elsewhere and McPake is left high and dry.
Raymie
1 minute ago, Piracy said: Earlier this year I met a couple of Raith Rovers board members in a pub. They were playing Ross County on the Sunday. One specifically asked me what I thought of our new/present set up. He also remarked that at a game against us the only board member from our side at EEP that day was Drew Main. Now I'm not saying that's true or indicative of every home game, but it does lend potentially itself to some questions about their attendance at home games. Drew was the only one hosting Raith's board. There was another Pars board member at the game, however!

Well it looks like the board have been aware of the discontent so maybe Cook has been doing what you asked?

Also, it may have been due to he way the Pars directors were treated in the box at the last game at Starks, where they were subjected to being called ‘Townie b*****ds’ by a guest of the Rovers directors, who thought this was funny 🤷♂️
