SPFL Trust Trophy

After the utter embarrassment of the league cup The draw for the SPFL Trust Trophy was made today. Although initially dismissed as the "Diddy Cup", there is good money now with this competition and we really need to do well. However facing Dick Campbells East Fife away from home is always going to be a tough fixture. Hopefully we are in a better place this time!

Hamilton Academical v Dundee United B

Third-round ties are scheduled for the weekend of September 7th and 8th.

• Clubs 1st – 10th in League 1 2023/24
• Clubs 2nd – 10th in Championship 2023/24
• Club 12th in Premiership in 2023/24

I know there's been a bit of money put into this competition but that doesn't kick in until later stages and it's still in the category of being a diddy cup I care little about.  That might change over the next few years if money is continued to be made available and that it achieves its aim at making it be treated more seriously.
