Breen seemed the more obvious choice both when fisher and bene went off but I don't think he'd regret his choices, especially when we had so much possession 2nd half. Yorkiepar
Understand folks’ frustrations with McPake but surely now is not the right time to be calling for him to go when the whole ownership infrastructure and indeed future of the club is currently in turmoil? kelty_par
He has no idea on how to improve the team. We’ve been like this end of last season and carrying on into new season. Change is needed imo and when ayr beat us next week we’ll be 15 points off top spot!

Most businesses in transition tend to avoid making decisions as much as they can, I think that may benefit mcpake if not the club long term

Why? The football side is apparently "buisness as usual" (which is a shame), however even taking the ownership situation, do you think we're more or less likely to get offers when we're marooned at the bottom of the table with plummeting attendances? What do we gain by keeping McPake? We're an atrociously coached team. For me the really worrying aspect was for months I thought the problem was the system or the tactics, but he's played four at the back recently and we look just as bad. McPake isn't going to change formation or personal and all of a sudden we'll look like a good team.

There's only one way we are leaving this league.

Top 4 should have been more than ambitious enough even this season. But no, the board release funds when it's already obvious we're in the mire. Clueless. Absolutely clueless club ran by idiots.

That would get you punted anywhere else. Football is so boring it’s beyond belief and we barely have a go at teams. How many games have we had under Mcpake you can say you enjoyed? 2 games against Falkirk in league one and Partick Dundee United last season? It’s utterly dreadful stuff Edited August 24 by kelty_par
Yorkiepar
I’m not denying that results and our playing style are unacceptable but in our current mess matters have to be prioritised. We need some sort of stability and security at board level before we start the process of possibly replacing the managerial team. If we don’t have the basics in place to ensure continuing operation and financing of the club then we might as well close the doors. It’s an unpalatable situation but it’s the reality. Might it mean relegation? I fear that it’s entirely possible but that’s definitely something for which blame can be laid at the door of GmbH fussball for their dilatory recruitment, having seemingly prioritised the training academy. We are where we are. As Piracy has said in previous posts, the best thing we can do is to get behind the club and not be seen to be calling out everyone (players and management included) at every opportunity.

McCann needs loaned out. Wotherspoon is a waste of a jersey. Fisher played whilst being ill, that one is on McPake. McCann needs to **** off. He's terrible. Mcpake can **** off with him

kelty_par
If we can’t call out poor performances, a lack of goals and an utterly dreadful style of football then what’s the point? Basically asking folk to pay money all season to watch and accept utter ****e
