Piracy Posted August 23 Report Posted August 23 I'm a sucker for old fitbaw photos. Here's a cracker from Highbury in 1936. 7 Quote
GEW35 Posted August 24 Report Posted August 24 I love old football photos too! A while ago I bought myself “Lifted over the turnstiles” by Steve Finan, it’s a great book with photos of lots of Scottish football grounds (in the back & white era!) with a wee bit historical blurb along with them. Highly recommend 😊 3 Quote

Deutsch Par Posted August 25 Report Posted August 25 Talking of Tannadice, I love this image. 7 Quote
GEW35 Posted August 25 Report Posted August 25 This pic is from the book I mentioned earlier, the caption reads “Third Lanark enlisted their first team squad in the push to get Cathkin Park playable for the visit of East Fife in February 1963, inside-forward Sammy Baird was in charge of the pneumatic drill breaking up the ice”. Loving the sheepskin jacket & fag in the mouth to help him concentrate! 5 Quote
