You'd have to think so. How much money were they making on strips before they decide to pay puma for 4 years. Thats absolute negligence, surprised he didn't come out saying McArthur builed him into the deals. Quote
Deutsch Par Posted October 9 Report Posted October 9 Inverness only have themselves to blame really. This is the man who forgot to order seats for Hearts' new stand and yet they still employed him. Quote
Superally Posted October 15 Author Report Posted October 15 Not looking good for ICT this far in terms of their admin crowd funding exercise. STV are reporting they have raised £82K and are £118K short of their total due on Wednesday. Quote

It was a stupid idea anyway, that £82k that will disappear when it could have gone towards getting them out of admin once it inevitably happens. Quote

If they're smart they won't actually have handed the money over unless and until the full amount needed had been raised. Quote

The money is being raised directly by the club instead of the supporters trust as an example, however reading the update from today it's likely the call to BDO to go ahead for admin and that the money raised will be used to cover expenses during the admin period, so it may serve a purpose in the way the save the pars phase did. Eastendtales Posted October 16 Report Posted October 16 They'll need a lot more than 80k just for the administrators. Quote

Deutsch Par Posted October 16 Report Posted October 16 He's the reason that they have managed to go this long without going into admin. I think I read that he has already pumped in £350,000 of his own money. Quote

He probably could, but he's already donated a 6 figure sum over a few months to keep them afloat. He could significantly reduce his net worth and keep things going, but there's a lot of **** that needs cleared in the background from the previous directors. He either pays off previous directors who have caused the ****show and are still trying to control assets. Or he saves them out of admin for maybe 10% of that. If your were him, who would you think should be the ones losing out? He needs administration to clear the decks and deal with the problems in the background as well as the direct losses. 1 1 Quote
Eastendtales Posted October 16 Report Posted October 16 Fair points, im certainly no expert on their state of affairs. Admin is always risky though. Giving up control, even temporary, can cause a lot of heartache for players and employees. Quote

FWIW savage doesn't have control, he's acting as a consultant currently. He's has said he'd try and employ anyone made redundant within his own company. Theres suggestions of other interested parties but normally at this stage it can be vultures jumping in Quote
