Superally Posted October 4 Report Posted October 4 A little update on COWs regarding investment interest, slightly encouraging but non disclosure agreements limit what is being said behind the doors Club Investment Update | Dunfermline Athletic Football Club - (dafc.co.uk) Quote
Deutsch Par Posted October 4 Report Posted October 4 Frustrating but understandable that they can't reveal too much at this stage. Looking hopeful though. Quote
parsforlife Posted October 4 Report Posted October 4 It's a bit of a meaningless update but when rumours are beginning to stir around town about interest then you can see why it's been put out. Quote
Tartan Army Par Posted October 4 Report Posted October 4 Good to know things are moving in the background. The sooner the better our club get the sorted out and hopefully with owners that have ambition to get our club further up the leagues in the near future. Quote
El Patrón Posted October 4 Report Posted October 4 Half expected them to calm down and retract their previous statement after realising it was a childish kneejerk reaction. However, judging by the statement released when they spat the dummy, if that is the caliber of persons involved in the German investment group then its probably a good thing they are following through and moving on. Hopefully it doesn't take long. Quote
Mr Mac Posted October 4 Report Posted October 4 Positive update, hopefully there will be news soon. Noted there's already a poster on "the other site" trying to say how the new owner(s) should spend their money... Quote
DA-go Par Adonis Posted October 4 Report Posted October 4 To be fair, they are only saying that investing in youth is great but the priority should be the first team. 1 Quote

Businesses may be run by share holders, but without customers they will fail, and fans will always outnumber them. Quote
Mr Mac Posted October 4 Report Posted October 4 I don't disagree that we need to make sure the balance between spending to bring shorter term results and bringing youth through longer term is something we all have opinions on. I also think our GMBH haven't got it right which is probably the root-cause of the unrest that has led to them selling up. I just think we should wait until a deal is signed sealed and hear the new investors thoughts before we make demands on how they spend rather than potentially put investors off... Quote

Without knowing exactly whose involved its hard to judge. But some investors must be put off. I wish GBMH were put off much earlier and they are far from the worst people to try involve themselves in football. Edited October 5 by parsforlife 1 Quote

Maybe those in the board room should stop gobbing off in the first place Quote

Eastendtales Posted October 7 Report Posted October 7 I'm not sure what that means but they could jeopardise any investment with their loose lips now. Quote
