After Saturdays win against Kelty Hearts the Pars have another home league fixture this Saturday to face Morton that will bring to an end the first quarter of games this season. Morton sit 6th in the table with 9pts, 4pts more than the Pars. League form guides also suggest that Morton also have an advantage in recent fixtures. Overall they have scored 7 goals and conceded 6. Once again this will be a tough fixture. Its not clear where the Pars are in terms of injuries. Ngwenya made the bench last week and Fogerty was on international duty so they would be expected to appear. Hopefully that will allow both Hamilton and Otoo to progress further up the midfield, Bene remained on the side lines along with McCann and keeper Oluwayami. New signing Dapo Mebude lasted 13mins before coming off injured and received stitches. The Pars started badly against Kelty Hearts but did largely control the game after coming from a goal down but there were some signs of fragility and nervousness towards the end. This will be yet another tough game with Morton Beating Hamilton in the cup last week and Raith the week before. While the Pars drew against Airdrie and beat Kelty Hearts they should also benefit from a slight lift in confidence. However this first Quarter has been disappointing in comparison to last season where at best we can only earn 8pts as opposed to the last seasons 14points over the same period. Can the Pars go three games unbeaten – possibly. We did beat Morton three times last season but were mulled in a 5-0 drubbing, but it will be a score draw for me this weekend. COYP

I sort of feel (hope) that there will be a bounce factor from the win over Kelty. Obviously there won't be a barrow load of goals from the Pars but maybe they'll squeek a 1-0 win?

If we have Tobi back in goals we could maybe get a clean sheet. If mehmet continues in goal then no chance of one I’m afraid

Looking forward to seeing Tobi in goal, Fogarty back in defence and Mebude getting to start again. If they do then optimistic we can get the win that we badly need. If I turn up and find Mehmet in goal and Mebude out injured then I am going to be very disappointed!

It's annoying that they've managed to pluck a loanee out of nowhere (well, Motherwell) to replace JET. I know which one I'd rather face. If we don't win this (and I don't think we will) it'll be one win from the quarter which should be grounds for instant dismissal. We all know it won't be though.

I think that's why there's such apathy.

Aye, we're all just sitting around hoping those in power will make the right decision and we get new owners who will move us forward. It feels like we are only hoping that the results in the meantime are relatively immaterial before a takeover. i just hope there's enough contribution that staying up is realistic when new owners comes in. It's a disgraceful situation but it doesn't feel like there's anything to be done as a fan to help.

McPake said he played for NI On Tues. Cant say I'm impressed that we have 3 fit defenders on the bench witBene Fisher and Fogerty and replaced that with a youngster (albeit with promise) and two midfielders.

Tobi Is back, But the team is compromised once again by not playing Ngwenya & Fogarty and pulling back Hamilton & Otoo from the midfield

Unlike last season, with clay available I don't think we are as desperate to have Hamilton or Otoo in midfield. I'd prefer Otoo up there but I suspect there is still doubt over ngwenya's fitness.  Hamilton has been playing well at CH and I'm happy to keep him there.

don't know why fogarty isn't playing tho .
