Yorkie Posted October 23 Report Posted October 23 Has anyone used this recently ? Are numbers holding up? Is format the same ?Thinking of booking 8 of us in (for Airdrie game) as we have done for many years although we missed last season. Quote

Hi @Yorkie, Like @Piracy says we booked it towards the end of the season and thoroughly enjoyed it. 8 folk should secure you a table for yourselves. I would Contact Margaret Miller at Margaret@dafc.co.uk who was extremely helpful for advice and to make a preliminary booking. 1 Quote

Don’t even get a programme complimentary anymore Quote
da_no_1 Posted October 24 Report Posted October 24 It's £65 if you have a season ticket. I was at the QP game towards the end of last season. It was a really good day out apart from between 3 & 4.50pm...... Quote
Eastendtales Posted October 24 Report Posted October 24 They'll be cutting the pies in half next Quote

With no drink included either it’s really not worth it Quote

Piracy Posted October 24 Report Posted October 24 90 quid is ridiculous. Needs a definite rethink. Quote
SanguinePar Posted October 24 Report Posted October 24 £90 does feel steep - if you break it down, you're getting: * Match entry to best seats in EEP (£24) * Meal and overall experience (say £30-40) * Free programme (£3? Long time since I bought one tbh) * Half time pastries (say £3) * Coffee/tea (say £3) * Pre and post match entertainment, manager/player appearance (debatable how much this might be worth, but it's something) So that's about £70, give or take, plus whatever the entertainment and experience is worth. To be fair, I've maybe missed something, but not sure what. And of course for non ST holders there's a decent chance it'll include folk who don't normally come to EEP anyway, but are there as guests of someone who does. It's a lot to ask of daytrippers. And, there's the chance of your game being moved to Friday night at fairly short notice, potentially scuppering all your plans! Quote

It’s far from a £30-£40 meal experience - it’s basic catering - £20 would still leave them with a healthy profit - the fact that it’s no longer selling out speaks volumes 2 Quote

Either way, I think we agree that it's not great value. 1 Quote
Eastendtales Posted October 25 Report Posted October 25 Deals for hospitality against Livi are available to be fair. Looking at 35 quid for 1 course, some Leishman banter and main stand seat. Quote
