He could have hit it first time, but it I agree the players were too close for him to get a shot in after hes touched it.

Still can't decide if Mccann meant that shot. Certainly shapes up for it. Its gone in and thats what matters in the end. 2 goal in as many games. Been while since hes scored in consecutive games. Shame we don't have the behind the goals replays anymore.

Have they ever thought of doing extended highlights on parstv? Do a monthly subscription as part of live coverage.

McCann didn't connect properly because their No 16 gave him a wee shove in the back as he went to hit it and unbalanced him. He managed to regain his balance but sclaffed his shot as a result. Ironically, this caused it to loop well out of their keeper's reach. Had McCann been able to connect properly, the keeper might have been able to block it.

He got a wee shove, had he missed we wouldn't have got a penalty and you'd have an ocean of dweebs having ago at McCann.  McCann himself thought that, which is why he hit the deck and held a half hearted appeal for a foul as the ball hit the net.

McCann could do with a bit of arrogance that the great goalscorers have. McCoist etc would openly admit to not being the best strikers of a ball,  but if your doing it in the right places then the your chances of success are massive

Those highlights do include the Chalmers chance, and I stand by my view that he wasn't absolutely clean through. By the time the ball (a looping header from Ngwenya) is at his feet he has a man in front of him and one closing in from the side.

I'd still have preferred him to shoot, but I don't think passing it was a terrible choice tbh.

I was raging - not so much at not shooting although he could have done, but that the pass he did play was so bad it stopped all momentum.
