SanguinePar Posted November 16 Report Posted November 16 Bene got it officially of course, but I thought Otoo was outstanding today, definitely my pick for MOTM. Honourable mentions to Ngwenya and Comrie, and McCann had some really good moments, along with a few ropey ones! Also, Tobi did well, not much to do, but a fantastic save in the first half and some solid cross collection in the second. Quote
parsforlife Posted November 16 Report Posted November 16 Comrie hasn't played that well for a long time, great to see. Quote
Raymie Posted November 16 Report Posted November 16 Our best players were in defence. Bene, Comrie, Tobi and Otoo the manager said Todd was the best player on the pitch. 🤷 I must have been at a different game ? Quote
kelty_par Posted November 16 Report Posted November 16 Otoo gave away the ball a lot for me, he’s a centre mid and we need him in there. Makes absolutely no sense playing him CB when we’ve got 2 sat on the bench 1 Quote

kelty_par Posted November 16 Report Posted November 16 Mcpake not happy with the reaction to Kane substitution. On the face of it, taking your best striker off at 0-0 in a must win game maybe wasn’t the best move. Said it was down to lack of training etc but I thought Mebude was harshly dropped today Quote
Salvo Montalbano Posted November 16 Report Posted November 16 Comrie for me. Three or four vital interceptions and also got forward to good effect several times. Quote
Eastendtales Posted November 16 Report Posted November 16 Comrie followed by Bene. Both were really good. McCann scored but his general play is abysmal for a professional footballer. 2 1 Quote
da_no_1 Posted November 17 Report Posted November 17 McCann is a bit erratic but I'd definitely stop well short of saying he's abysmal. Quote

He'll just be trying to give him a public vote of confidence, truthfully Todd hasn't got firing at all this season. Has been poor. Comrie was MOTM for me in what was a poor team performance. 1 Quote

Only because we know hes better. The irony is his goal today was an awful first touch and a fluke from a slip. He's played way better in 20 games without a goal. 2 in 2 thats all I can ask. Keep proving me wrong and I'm happy. Quote

First half was everything that is frustrating with him. Lack of awareness, balls bouncing off him, no threat, breaking down our own attacks. 2nd half was better, out couple decent balls into the box and scored the winner. I'll change my mind if he keeps on scoring goals but he's had long enough that we can't afford him as a passenger in the team. Quote
