There is no escaping, its another big game on Saturday away from home against Ayr Utd. After Saturday's win against bottom team Airdrie, The Honest Men will provide a bit more of a challenge. The last outing between the teams ended up in a 1-1 draw following an Ewan Otoo opener. After strong investment Ayr certainly started the season well and seemed strong contenders, Brooney was closely mentioned with regards to the St Johnston job. However, they seemed to have struggled of late and lost their early momentum and there is growing disquiet within the fan base. Yet they remain 3rd in the table and are the leagues second highest scorers with 22 goals. Defensively they are 3rd best with 14 goals only one better than the Pars. In recent form there is not much to choose between the two sides but Ayr hold a slight edge with both teams winning last weekend. The Pars should have a full squad to pick from and there is evidence despite our league position that we are playing much better but still remain inconsistent. I think there is a good chance of a result, but I suspect it will be points shared once again. COYP

Well, this may be a great example of strawclutchery, but we're on a wee roll having won 2 games in a row. And good things come in 3s. And another thing. The teams we beat were Alloa and Airdrie. Next up Ayr.

Spot the connection? 🤔

They're all to the west of us?

Ayr were 3-0 up against QP going into last 10 mins and very comfortable after the wobble at EK according to my nephew. Brown made changes to the shape of the team and it appeared to have worked. Be good going to come back with anything but after watching that performance on Saturday I can’t see it.

I don’t think there is a great deal between any of the teams either. I think it will be a game of few chances, maybe less so for us than Ayr, and it could simply come down to who can convert one?

Yeah we’ve got to start taking our chances at some point. That KRH one on Saturday wasn’t much harder than Hammys against Thistle. Just can’t keep missing chances like that.

I'll try rearranging the three teams.,

Alloa

Airdrie

Ayr

Does that help? Remember it's strawclutchery. 😁

Buspasspar made me laugh.
