He doesn't know what he is doing. 

He has never played as part of a league winning team. His first league win as player or manager was us in league 1. 

He hasn't became a bad manager overnight He has always been a not very good manager.

Give him the largest budget and he'll be right up there. But ask him to work with what he has got and he's struggling. 

I'm fully convinced someone like Dick and Ian Campbell could get a tune outta this squad. Might not finish in the top two but certainly wouldn't be anywhere near the bottom two.

Getting rid of players like Mehmet and Wighton plus O’halleron will free up a good amount of money…then rid of the deadwood. 
there is more or less a blank canvass to work from next season and we need the Germans/management out so the club can start again…

Is Meggle still there having a say so but there is definitely something wrong at the club…why doesn’t McPake just come out and say the truth…he’s got nothing to lose..or has he reached his peak as a manager, Dundee fans told us this when he got sacked there that he has a limit and can’t progress a team🤷 

He actually got Dundee out the Championship as well. I can't see anyone let Meggle, meddle in team tactics, but who knows. He really needs to do something out the box to keep his job. He going to end up in the managers scrap yard with Yogi and Peter Grant

James McPake definitely isn't a silly guy. He knows more about the game than he did when he first came to the club. He's always looking to improve himself. I just think with the situation at the club it hasn't helped the team any. I think now its time for him to move on. Some of the abuse toward him yesterday at Somerset was out of order. Fans were arguing with each other over the abuse, it stopped thankfully.

I think in terms of personality I can't think of a manager that so many agree should move on but still a large amount respect him as a person. 

Things will inevitably spill over and I have a bit of a worry about next week given how horrendous the set up is at medowbank. Lose there and he and the team need to walk 20-30 yards past an angry away support with nothing but poorly built temporary barriers separating them.

Oh I like McPake but is that team he puts out his team? Or is there certain terms in players contracts eh get played…….as if that is his 1st team to start with no restrictions then he’s deluded….far to negative!

Surely no manager would put up with getting told tactics and the players to pick?  It's no a Lithuanian banker in charge. The board should only be telling him we need to win games and why the negative football? If he is being stubborn and hoping it'll click, he'll be gone by Xmas.

Nobody above him gives enough of a **** to interfere in team selection.

Not saying that they should interfere though, the only action that they should be taking at the moment is relieving McPake of his duties, and give the role to a couple of senior players until a takeover goes through then the new owners can appoint their own head coach or manager or whatever the position is called these days.
