Grant, you're not a DAFC coach, manager or player. Maybe they're all collectively really angry at what's happened and felt the need to vent at what theyve went through today.

I'm also adamant that's a honking statement. It's something you'd see from a disgruntled fan after a few pints, it shouldn't be coming out on official channels just before kick off.

I'm also of the opinion that the statement is embarrassing, it makes us look defeated before a ball is kicked.  I remember in 2000 we were at home to Clydebank who were falling apart and I think were liquidated at the end of the season.  Their bus broke down, kick off was delayed and we pumped them 6-0 (there were also some a*******s in the Norrie booing because we took our foot off the gas and St.Mirren had beaten them 9-0, but that's an aside), the point is that they didn't whine about it, they got on with it.

Grant I meant your agenda where you stated 3 hours ago we "wanted the game off" before we released the statement.

We've lost again after another pish performance. I can't be ***ed continuing this debate cos we'll never agree. Just my opinion but the club and every single one of its employees seem to be getting it in the neck from all angles just because of repeated ****e performances and a few bad eggs.

I'll use the excellent Christmas promo on SM as a prime example of the vitriol anything DAFC produces seems to attract. It's quite sad.

Allot of credit to McPake, despite all the pre Match shenanigans he managed to put in a performance consistent with those under him 👏 

 

He'll be delighted with whoever put out that statement pre Match.

From the tweet that Drew Main put out, followed by us then telling fans to not bother travelling on the official club channels, it was fairly clear to me we wanted the game off. That was then confirmed by what was (imo) an embarrassing pre Match statement. 

A statement like that won't have came out from those who create the social media content, it will have come from the BoD.

What do you expect?  If the club continues to be disgracefully run then people will naturally be more cynical over everything.  Does that mean that some ok things will be criticized unnecessary? yea . But that's a direct consequence over where we are as a club.
