A lot of talk on the finances and running of the club. A lot of it goes over my head really and perhaps it should not. My view is that we have as good a football squad as most in this league but they are underperforming. Maybe what is going on in the background is unsettling but a good man manager would overcome this. We also have probably the best home and away support. I am not for sacking anybody but a Dick Campbell or a Jim Leishman type would have a much more confident team on the park - I think.

I am going for a 3 nil Pars win and think the first will be a penalty.

Game day today and it should be an exciting start to this season’s Scottish Cup run. We should be looking forward to a strong performance against a side 2 leagues below but instead most comments relate to the finances of the club, how well (or otherwise) we are run and the possibilities of new management.

My wish would be for a performance on the park and a result that enables us to focus on a successful cup run. The main issue is always how well the first team is doing and hopefully come 5 o’clock we will have something to celebrate for a change.

HT 1-0 Pars, Happy that we are leading and the stats suggest we look like the stronger team but we need another goal before I can feel comfortable

Agreed so very much on top for 20 minutes stat wise. If they come out going for it then that second goal should come quickly.

A bright start and really doing well then it seems to have fizzled out. I am looking for a Pars side coming out and going for it. The fire power is there so use it.

I think thats what worries me, will they sit back and defend because im not confident enough to think we are capable of doing that. We need another goal to put this to bed. Hopefully our full time status and a high tempo will stretch City and we can take advantage

Sounds like it going by the updates three chances so far in the 2nd half.

I'd hope to god we might be a little more adventurous but having only scored two goals in the last three against them its the only way Mcpake can play.
