Regardless of their motive it is betraying a level of trust. Call me old fashioned but I reckon integrity still counts for something nowadays. 2 minutes ago, Salvo Montalbano said: You seem to be assuming it's come from the club and not from the potential investors? They could have leaked something to see how the fans would react? Test the waters so to speak. It's a tale as old as time. Yea, this. Not all leaks are a betrayal of trust, quite a lot of the time there's an understanding that it can benefit to test things out in the open without it being official. Quote

That makes no sense. Especially for that reason. 1 Quote

Depends what was on the NDA, its very unlikely that it says you can't mention that you even might be interested to anyone, its more going to be, you can't reveal player salary, and we won't reveal the offer amount. The NDA's are going to be very specific, otherwise they'd be pointless. Quote

I’m fairly sure, as I know parties asked for private tours of the stadium where no staff were allowed to be there, that it was about identity of the bidders. It’s not going to be about ‘might be interested’ it was only ever serious bidders who were being entertained that had to sign them and when it was announced there were parties in discussion, it said NDA’s, plural. I put a different scenario in response to another post. You've just done exactly the same with my post. Which just goes to prove it's open season for interpretation. There's been a lot of club business leaked, according even to the club themselves. It's always been that way. What I will say is whoever is in a position of trust in relation to NDA has betrayed trust, regardless. Quote

They absolutely did ask for private tours of our facilities. Quote

rosythpar Posted December 14, 2024 Report Posted December 14, 2024 Chat today and on other forums seems to be that the sale of the club is done? All just rumours until it's confirmed but hopefully is done soon and we can get rid of McPake. Quote
