Superally Posted December 18, 2024 Report Posted December 18, 2024 The Saturday The Pars are in away to Greenock Morton a relegation play off clash. After the dismal effort last weekend when we had the opportunity to consolidate 6th Place The Pars fall to 9th and face a game where it gives Morton the opportunity to create 4pt gap should they win. The stats suggest there is little to chose between the teams with Morton scoring a goal more but have a slightly inferior goal difference. Recent form show Morton being unbeaten in their last 4 games but with only one win. The Pars have won two and been beaten in two. The last outing between the teams was a dour non scoring draw. Where Morton bullied The Pars game plan, AS the pars have yet to win away from home the incentive this Saturday appears to favour the home team. Can the Pars inconsistent form afford another defeat, probably not but given the evidence of a poor management team with no ideas and a playing staff playing miles below their potential perhaps a draw is the best to hope for. I suspect there will be no crackers and no presents this Xmas. COYP Quote
Buster_Brown Posted December 18, 2024 Report Posted December 18, 2024 I seeing this being very similar to the game at EEP, so will predict another no score bore! Quote
the saline hill puma Posted December 18, 2024 Report Posted December 18, 2024 Thinking of heading through. Morton should win as our away form is deadful....best we'll be able to do is sneak a draw and maybe even sneak a shot on target at some point. Quote

da_no_1 Posted December 18, 2024 Report Posted December 18, 2024 (edited) I think this could be the single worst event to be watched by humans ever And for that reason, I'm out. Edited December 18, 2024 by da_no_1 3 Quote

Can't possibly be worse than that 0-0 in the same fixture a few years back, that was also a Friday night live game on the BBC. Soul-crushingly bad. Quote
kelty_par Posted December 18, 2024 Report Posted December 18, 2024 Our only hope is not to be too far detached by time mcpake is punted to try stay up. Wouldn’t give him more funds in January as his signing record isn’t great Quote
Secure Par Posted December 18, 2024 Report Posted December 18, 2024 If McPake does his defensive formation like usual it’s got a draw or 2-0 loss. But we might have Chris Kane back for a last 5min stint😅 Quote
