I do......

This is the boy who reckons we only won yesterday because it was a "free hit", there was no pressure on the players as no-one expected us to do anything anyway so the players had zero responsibility.

I've no idea why he bothers, he seems to get absolutely no enjoyment from watching the Pars.

Ha, there's more than a few of those about. Thankfully, I don't count myself among their number :-)

Very impressive on the highlights, the only thing I would say is Partick have played three times in 8 days. Still they looked poor, and we shocking against Morton. Also good to see Ashcroft absolutely berating everyone at third when he had the howler as usual.

KRH showing glimpses of what he can do that ball for Comrie was an absolute beauty. Mccann's cracking finish for the 1st and for the assist on the 4th. Kane's intelligence for the assist for the 1st and the smart finish for his goal. Mebude unlucky not to have a couple of assists. Him and cooper starting to fit in and look good options from the bench. Again all early days but its great to be enjoying games again and a bit of hope again on game days. I really hope Tidser involves John within the 1st team coaching.

If we can get 7pts from the next 4, (ideally wins at least against Airdrie and QP) we are right back in it.

Absolutely no reason why not. I have always said this was a decent squad of players. McPake did a decent job putting them together he just did no seem to know how to get them to play together. Why and how we got here is a mystery. I think we have seen how go forward from now. Manage games and manage expectations. Know when to attack and know when to defend but make sure you take the fans with you. Football is nothing without fans

I watched the Pars from an early age in 1967. I was 10 then. I watched them for years including the awful 1970ies. I moved with work in 1977 and returned in 1984 to watch Jim Leishman wake the giant and work magic. Those were superb years. I left again for work reasons in 2001 (Cyprus, Benbecula and Kyle of Lochalsh). I am now retired in Kyle but was always a Pars man. Many a lovely Saturday afternoon in the Hockey Club in RAF Akrotiri with loads of Celtic RAF Rigger Fans. Football is and should be fun and sometimes joy.

I hope if Tidser does come in, he is open to the idea of using the shape we used yesterday. It seemed to really suit the personnel we had.

Not just shape, but overall approach.  Lanzarote John touched on it but the way we approached transitions was vital.  Its high energy but the rewards are more than worth it.

Yer better leaving dot net full stop.

Just seen a thread there talking about trips to st. Johnstone next season….. we’ve still plenty work to do to make ourselves safe first before planning next season

Tidser still wouldn't be my first choice given the position we're in mid-season.  However, I'm a bit more optimistic after yesterday as it no longer looks like the new manager has a sinking ship to try and rescue.

We've seen an exceptionally spirited performance, followed by the best away display in a few seasons, and 4 points out of 6 against two of the better sides in the division.  There's a foundation to build from now, and genuine optimism amongst the fans, which is a far better starting point.

Hopefully, we can kick on under Tidser and, if we do, Lanzarote John will deserve a good deal of credit for what he's managed to achieve over the festive period.

That's just Rusty being an optimist. He's one of the good guys.

Disagree with a bit of that. I thought KRH was poor throughout. Looked lost for quite a bit of the game and was lucky he had Comrie covering behind him

Totally agree. KRH has been poor all season. Just one of many who unfortunately are 1st division players.

I go on for a laugh nowadays. Some absolute roasters.

One currently have a proper go about Tidser how he's young, hardly any experiance and has a poor win record. Then puts forward Neil Mccann as one alternative. If that's not trolling then god help them. 😂
