So far the Pars continue to remain managerless, but have been in good hands with "Lanzarote John" motivating the players to gain valuable points. Will the run continue against another top performing team in Ayr Utd - we will have to see when we welcome the Honest Men to EEP on Saturday? After a recent good run of form Ayr now sit 2nd in the table. They are pretty free scoring with 32 goals, and keep it tight at the back conceding just 17 goals. Recent form reflects recent results, being unbeaten in four with a good 5-2 win against Falkirk and a 3-0 win against the Wee Team on their last outing. Despite growing confidence and home advantage, The Pars have it all to do if they want to continue with their own good form. Games between the two have been tight with a 1-1 draw and a narrow 1-0 defeat. If its Lanzarote John or Micheal Tidser in the dugout this weekend, the players have shown resilience and confidence in equal measure. I think there is a decent possibility we might take 3pts from this game, but I’m thinking the end result might be tighter than it was against the Jags. A 2-1 win for the Pars. COYP

Those numbers are hard to beat even with USH on, nevermind an old decrepit one.

Im a bit torn on wanting this on or not and it probably depends if the tidser deal goes through. If it does, give him time with the squad, maybe even add one or two.  If he's not it, let Lanzarote John carry on his momentum.

My nephew follows Ayr home and away and tells me their recent return to form coincides with moving to a back three.

Will take a draw right now but I think the weather will be the winner.

Didn’t think they were anything special when we played them at home. To be fair, there are no special teams in this league.
It’s all about turning up on the day and a wee bit of luck.
I’ll go 2-1, thanks to our new found confidence.

While Ayr are on a decent run, they are far stronger at Somerset than away. So if we play with the intensity of the last 2 matches, hopefully that helps us get another 3 points in the board.

Got to keep up that intensity.  With a hopefully large crowd pushing them on, every reason to be positive we’ll get a narrow win and 3 points.

Suspect this game will be doubtful, going by the weather reports however I hope it goes ahead, as after last Saturday, I’m really looking forward to it.

If the players can hit the levels that they did against Thistle, then we have nothing to fear and could definitely come out with a positive result.

Aye, I could be making this up but I'm sure I read somewhere when the pitch flooded that the lowest it is effective to is -7 which is what it is supposed to be for the next two nights. Even if it's on, it might not go ahead.
