Interesting, Grant.
I'd suggest that if Livingston were the only team to come down, then next year could well present our best chance?

Nothing coming from last night gave me any hope that next season will be anything other than meh. I would much rather the club were a bit more transparent with the fans and set the stall out, here’s the plan, we’re not investing in players, anything better than consolidation is a bonus. It’s the hope that’s a killer.
I think most people could have predicted the replies from DC? To be fair, it's probably the same stuff that get's rolled out at many other clubs?

4-2-3-1 is a good system for the players we have. Hamilton and Otoo as the two pivots, would give us six defensive types and shield the centre-backs, allowing four players to get forward and support the likes of a Chris Kane
Right now, we would have:-
Hosler, Todd, Jakubiak
Kane
as our attacking 4
Ideally we should look for a natural attacking "leftie"
PS - I would take Mochrie back and a fit and healthy Summers. Maybe they could fill the void on the left?

KRH is a winger. Play him there

We're taking the minibus to the game for our sins. Gluttony on show.
I'm hoping for a win, but can't see past a draw, 1-1.
Can you please park it behind Mehmet?

Whilst he’s not been great, one thing that can’t be levelled at MOH is his work rate

Last two games at home have been awful. We had pretty much a fully fit squad, with plenty of first team experience on the bench, so we can’t use that as an excuse. Both were winnable games against teams I rate as poorer than us, but the belief was not there and two draws were about all we deserved.
Had Benedictus not played, we would have been looking at two defeats.
nowhere near good enough.- 3

This will be a hard game.
Midfield is a concern. Physically we are weak in there.
Breen going to come in for his first start in quite a while. Will he break down again ?Bite your hand off for a draw right now

Formation should be determined by who is available and the opponent.
to blindly play the same all season, with the injuries we have had, is questionable- 5

Sorry but the board/owners have a different plan and that doesn’t involve buying success
-
I really can’t see much changing on the park as those off the park have a different strategy

Square pegs in round holes again today

Otoo’s biggest weakness is his passing from about ten to twenty yards but he can work on that. Just needs to take more care.
Welsh Hayes my mom. Very solid and kept a dangerous player quiet.
good game to watch. A draw probably fair. ?

Hammy should be ok for Saturday. ?Can’t see Paul Allan making it but doesn’t appear too bad ?
Same starting 11 for me

We won’t get a full P&L, which is a pity

I think we will take something from
the game

Sam Fisher and Andy Tod back and Breen not far away. Another 90 mins for Todd and KRH
I’m hopeful that we have more than enough to see us safe. Just need to stick the ball in the net more often !!- 1

One thing fisher brings which no one else does is accurate long distance passing, that's bound to help us in attack.
I was just about to post the same. What he and Benedictus give us is the long ball out of defence. That’s been a very useful tactic. Nobody else can play those

I heard Mcpake getting it tight at full time. I for one am all for letting them him know that 3 wins in 13 games is completely unacceptable. It’s better than being a keyboard warrior I suppose moaning on a forum all week about how bad we are, and no one from the club will hear. At least they are telling him blatantly, to his face, that this is not good enough.
I didn’t hear any out of order abuse directed at any player, if they did, that is taking it too far!!
Staff and players do read the forums

What is Welch Hayes thinking about. ? Basic, basic defending. You can’t leave that

We have been the better side but hit with a sucker punch. Once again, our keeper could do better.

Missed the game. Still travelling home but a good surprise to read about the win
looks like the injuries are clearing up in time to have a good last quarter ?
Hosler can’t be too far away and might get Fisher back at the end of the month ?- 1

The captain returns to help the pars grind out a 0-0 draw
Might stick a few quid on a 0-0 or 1-1 ?

GmbH can convert the loan today, if they so choose. The reason they have not is to allow PUCIC to still have a voice.
