More and more difficult to get motivated to make the effort to get to EEP

Those of us with longer memories will recall sitting in the Rugby Park stand one end of season , the sun was shining and the pars were staying up. Unless they lost something like 7-0 to erode our better goal difference. I think  we were 4-0 down at half time and bricking it but Killie completely eased off and we stayed up. 

Complacency can make fools of us all.

We sure have been served some dull football over the last two seasons. We weren't scoring many goals last season and this season,looking at our goal scoring stats McCann is top scorer with 7 so unlikely we are getting anyone into double figures for the season.  

Looking at BBC stats -we won 2 corners against a team second bottom - hardly a sign of putting them under pressure   

Seems a few weeks since we last put in a performance, my confidence in McPake ebbs with performances like this.

Anyway , I reckon Inverness will get full points against Raith tonight to put the pressure on us. 

Off topic , I have been on the stage of Carnegie Hall,New York but never been in the one in Dunfermline - odd that must remedy that one day !

never mind winning 50/50s he won most of his 40/60s,30/70s ,20/80s when the odds were against him. A great midfield asset. 

Interesting that we finished 21 points ahead of them last season -hadn’t realised it was by quite so much. I also saw the average home attendances yesterday, we were second highest and Airdrie were bottom with an average home attendance of about 1800.

They are clearly doing something right, and dont forget they have 5 exPars in their squad. It would be interesting to compare playing budgets but I suspect McCabe is getting a better return per £ spent than we are.

Looking at .net sounds we have been rank.Ayr and ICT currently winning.

Midfield looks unbalanced to me - hope I am wrong but think we will miss Hamilton and Allan

Thought Chalmers was Ok . We overhit every cross into the box but the wind was horrendous. My MoM was Otoo again but he wasn’t immune from getting the weight of a pass all wrong due to the conditions. 

Meanwhile 200 miles south its sunny 17 degrees with a gentle breeze !

I hope its on , bought non refundable train and hotel . I have never known such a difficult season for travel with engineering works,strikes and bad weather all in the mix.

Thanks for summary , the thing that deeply concerns me is the comment that “ McPake is happy where we are and with the squad” frankly I find that alarming.

Suddenly not as confident as I was an hour  ago 

My nephew ( watches Ayr home and away) tells me they are playing a lot better under Brown,much better organised, going to be a really hard game , I am not optimistic that we will win it. 

Could certainly do with another striker as Holmes is not the answer 

Certainly thought we would puck up zilch so very pleased with outcome . Agreed Otoo put in a shift. When did we last score from a corner - Allan’s deliveries from corners were really good , I dont think he wasted one, where has he been hiding that skill ?

Lochalsh Par, you were probably confident of taking 9 points from the last three games ( for what it's worth I thought we would pick up 3 or 4). The last game I saw in person was the last time we played Arbroath however I am not sure about a change of manager, I would give him another few more weeks. I really feel he hasn't had the backing of the board when it comes to bringing players in. I think he has been told to shop at Poundland when what we need are higher quality/experienced heads.
