Great to see us developing our confidence as a national team and the support responding.

Only thing that annoyed me was the match being shown on Sky and it was the England game that was on STV. Commercial decisions I suppose.

Maybe it's my fault for being a tech hoor and cancelling Sky Sports.

    blame the SFA for that

You keep mentioning it though, we know the score. Don't need reminding of the case specifics. Happy for discussions but not for regressing over an individual legal event that's irrelevant to the club and its future and we'll being. Voice concerns over the way the clubs run, no one is stopping you.

Everybody on here is welcome to post but there is a need for moderating and a personal responsibility over what's posted and why. We're attempting to build a friendly, inclusive place for Pars fans. We dont get everything right but we try. You have an issue then feel free to direct message the Admin.

I was replying to someone else who brought it up.  Quick to delete any mention of it though so noted, I better not mention/reply about it again

Whilst I agree it’s not an easy subject to discuss I would respectfully disagree that shutting down the discussion is the correct course of action. As far as I’m concerned it’s a terrible look for the club that the individual in question still has access to areas of the club that the normal paying punter would not. I appreciate that the subject matter may make people feel uncomfortable but IMO that should make us even more incredulous that the individual still remains a relatively high profile figure at EEP.

That said I, absolutely do appreciate the point Piracy is making but I think we’re all reasonable people on here who can disagree on the issue of whether this merits further discussion without it turning disrespectful.

not the first time a post pointing out that this person is still in and around boardroom at both home and away games, sitting in director box etc.  Strange that no one is allowed to mention it or think it's wrong without it being deleted

  4. Dorrans wanted his contract terminated with immediate effect a few weeks ago, maybe he realised he wouldn't get as good a deal elsewhere though so went quiet

Didn't help that the club gave him a large relocation fee upfront over his huge wage

Hes got a big say what is going on at the club,it was him who wanted Crawford as manager and brought in Jackie Mcnamara as advisor.

Mcnamara was part of the interview process and told the board not to hire Grant.

Jackie McNamara.  There's a name we've not heard for a while

Probably doesn't merit a thread of it's own so just going to tack it on here. One of our first team players will be handing in a transfer request on Monday due to what he feels is unfair treatment from the manager. All is still definitely not well behind the scenes.

That's perhaps the biggest understatement you've made on here.  Still, our vice chairman is now fully focussed on being the main host and centre of attention in front of the Germans for the black and white ball so he can make himself look good.  Glad he has his priorities in order whilst everything else is turning to crap around him.

I'd be amazed if this happened. Would be delighted to be wrong on this occasion tbh.

More chance of them doubling up on the board, nepotism is not a good thing

Anyway, there is yet another board meeting on right now so see if anything comes of this one.  More regular than buses.

Have I missed something?  I thought the deal has been done.  The controlling interest has been set at 75.1%?

club is very quiet in general but the deal has not been done.  I think they will put more money in but Pars United will continue, I might be wrong

And I’ve heard the opposite, they’re just disappointed with results so far.  But they are much more pragmatic than a lot of the drama we get involved in as fans.  You don’t go investing £500k with promises of more then just go chucking it because the club youve bought has lost a few games.

Also, if the new owners don't end up taking a controlling interest and Pars United continues, would that mean  it's more than just disappointment with results so far?

£600k and the rest still to follow

I think relegation is a reality for us this season,we need to start turning things around now.

We already know ourselves how hard it is to get out of league 1 and look at Falkirk, they are now in their third season. It would just put us back to where we started again and be a complete financial disaster, you would be lucky to sell 1500 season tickets.

I have been at a meeting with the Germans and to be honest we came away knowing very little but to be fair to them it was their first visit since covid. At the next meeting we should get more details about their plans for the future.

The difference between us and Falkirk off the field is that we have a chairman who is liked by the fans, Falkirk fans cant stand Gary Dean's. I still think we need to get rid of a certain board member though if the club want to improve and move forward.

I've heard the Germans are not feeling the love right now.  I think Ross McArthur will end up staying for a while yet to try and keep them onside

I may be totally making this up, but I'm sure I read somewhere that we were always going to give him facilities to get fit. Hopefully he can come back from it, being out a long time is a lot tougher mentally than a lot of people think.

yeah no real news that on twitter.  Out of contract too now
