  1. I think if the manager looks at the opposition and the tactics he wants to employ against them and feels that he can walk straight in the team, then I guess he will. That's the way his job works.....
  2. Got to agree with Digs, Celtics movement and quick passing were tremendous but the actual basics expected from the Rangers players was sadly lacking, no pressing, failure to track opponents lack of an out ball, it was all clearly evident
  3. It's actually refreshing to hear him talk about his team and players, not the usual about the club, he doesn't regurgitate the usual stuff about the history of the institution, just concentrates on coaching and putting a team out to play
  4. Definitely agree with trying to keep it private which Hughes did up to that point. In a different scenario from Grant though as he did it when they had been hammered by a team that they were fighting a relegation play off against and that was them more or less resigned to that fate, Grant has done it during the first 10 games of the season. And it did kinda work , as they won their next game against Ayr........
  5. Absolutely, but having 12-14 weeks of snide comments, lack of effort during training, general indiscipline, culminating in a 5-0 defeat by one of the teams you are fighting against pushed him to the edge. I guess his one wrong equated to a number of wrongs by his so called professionals......
  6. Always 2 sides to that story though Buffy. Being undermined by a player going around all his team mates before he had even met them in the dressing room because of a previous falling out showed he was up against it from the start........
  7. I can't believe there are still people trying to defend the erseholes that committed these horrible actions and using Ross's managerial choices as an excuse to why it happened!!!
