Great that we matched a Championship team but all things considered yesterday was about as bad a day as it realistically could’ve been. Players knackered and demoralised after 120 mins of football and the heartbreak of penalties. Out the cup with Falkirk going through ensuring the rearranged game won’t be a Saturday and giving Falkirk a potential money spinning tie to strengthen, while we get weaker. A truly dreadful day to be a Pars fan. The happy clappers will be leaping for joy that we looked ok without achieving anything though.

Not a huge surprise. Imagine we’ll be looking to get as much off the wage bill as possible. Hopefully it doesn’t come back to bite us on the pitch
You're trying far too hard mate. Enough

As i thought - thanks 👍

Anyone at the game think we were "very fortunate to hang on"?
Based on those highlights it looked nothing like that.

Where about you seen this mate?
Quoting an Arab guy on P&B earlier today who's been "in the know" re Mochrie previously

Excellent Digs, much appreciated - don't want to speak too soon but there definitely seems to be something positive developing here & the manager is integral to it all.

Tits chilled.
If the club sees a potential revenue stream they have to exploit it, surely?

Think of the children.........

Still think there's something happened in the background with this guy or during the game that's made him react like he did. Normally he seems quite polite.
Not losing any sleep about it though. 99% of journos are arseholes.......😀

I could see this being replicated at some grounds. Quite embarrassing.
This doesn't mean there shouldn't be one. I'm no Royalist but if folk can't just shut up for a minute out of their lives to show a bit of respect then god help us.

The amount of absolutely phenomenal goals I scored playing Wembley Doubles at Myres Park in Kinghorn pretending I was Tony Morley will never be equalled by anyone ever. Fact.

Certainly not on my side. No interest in bickering just here for some Pars chat. Differing opinions are welcomed by myself.Which is why I apologised.

IMO we were lucky to get a point. You’re free to disagree with that opinion as is your right. What you shouldn’t be free to do is to try to bully someone away from a forum he enjoys posting on.If you felt bullied by me I genuinely apologise.

Fishing? Calling a side who just lost 6-0 at home to FC Edin “not very good” is fishing?I must've invented the part where you said "it took a great deal of luck for us to snatch a point"
What is your motivation to act this way on the majority of threads?

Spot on. Serious, serious trouble on the horizon. Even more troubling is we know for a fact a lot of these players don’t have the stomach for a relegation battle. You honestly think we're going to be ina relegation battle? Wow

I like there signing of Scullion for Alloa. Looked decent tbf
Connolly for QoTS along with Wilson. Surprised they kept Connolly, disagree re. Wilson.
Falkirk have made a very good signing in McGinn and Donaldson, and I would've taken Kennedy back aswell. McGinn possibly but we have Bene who's every bit as good as Donaldson if not better & will bring on Breen as well
Likewise I wouldn't have released Martin. Martin would've been an absolute gamble sadly - Kelty can afford that gamble, we can't anymore
Hamilton and Benedictus were good signings for us, with Mochrie looking good on paper.
With Falkirk they have a few players that have brutally underperformed in Nesbit, Morrison and Williamson, if McGlynn can get them firing it'll be bad news for us. That is one big if. They're all bang average IMO

You don't get glamour signings in this league, you get players that buy into the club ethos and have the ability to step up. Coll Donaldson was one who did that with us and was quickly snapped up.
Dom Thomas, how well would he do with our current squad?
These 2 would be more than welcome!
Well obviously. Not sure what your point is. Mine was that if the signings Falkirk have made are somehow proof that they're "throwing everything at promotion" then god help them
-
I must've missed all the Falkirk glamour signings
-
Specifically regarding League 1, which players have we missed out on that would add anything to our squad?
