Totally agree. Saturday was the chance to get a win and some confidence, Inverness game a week tomorrow looks huge considering how close we are with them in the table
-
Formation worked better on Saturday but performance wasn’t still good enough
-
How’s it up to someone on a forum to decide who the manager should be? That’s why we employee and pay good money for people like cook to make these decisions. That being said, the current owners have made 1/3 good management appointments so wouldn’t hold breath on them getting it right
-
I agree a change has to happen but the fact the board are backing him with signings I can’t see him going
-
Can’t disagree with this. If we can’t beat an absolute shocking side in Arbroath, then I’ve no idea where the next wins coming from
-
Genuinely can’t believe some folk a change of manager won’t do anything, we are TEN games without a win yet the management team seem to get a free pass from some. Wild

Kind of missing the point, another poster said it’s too late to change manager at this stage of a season, was just giving an example of one who had so little time yet worked wonders
-
Like what was the point all those years ago when leishman came in for just 3 games? Or do we just accept our fate ffs
-
Unless it’s a win, I can’t see how the current management team can stay in charge. I’ll go for a 2-1 pars win but it’s blind faith atm
-
Past 2 transfer windows have been poor. Tbf the 3 in fisher, KRH and otoo were good. The rest have been poor signings imo
-
Wonder when the next supporters meeting will be?
-
Who knows if changing the system will work, but it’s worth a try? Current one is getting us no success at all
-
8 goals shipped at home in 2 games and he isn’t set in his ways? It’s clear as anything the formation doesn’t work and he isn’t willing to change it. Last season he changed formation quite a bit so credit due there. Injuries is a excuse wearing thin, just had a full transfer window in which we had no game for 3 weeks and didn’t improve the team
-
With 2 rumoured signings to come in this week, with our recruitment I wouldn’t have much hopes of them being much good
-
Both nowhere near good enough at this level. Still got chalmers for another year too
-
Fact the manager is talking of 2 new signings coming in. And the fact he’s still got another 2 years left on his deal, he’ll be going nowhere. Which unfortunately means I think we’ll be going down as he’s too stuck in his ways
-
How can the management team have watched us ship 8 goals in 2 games at home and still not change the formation?? What will it take for him to get away from this 5 at the back pish! Clearly doesn’t work and to me the players have stopped playing for him, either that or they just clearly aren’t good enough
-
Summed it up for me yesterday when I was in hospitality, going to the toilet I hear a player asking the commercial manager if there was a box free to watch the game as they didn’t want to sit outside to watch the game! I mean wtf is that all about?
-
Just like under hughes and grant. Mcpake got to go now but board have plenty to answer for
-
Still hoping we can dip into the domestic loan market. Lack of investment in the first team is showing anyway
-
Imagine being disappointed with the club straggling in the championship….
-
Can’t say wighton will be much of a miss. Crazy to keep playing him when he’s half fit
-
So why bother even mentioning rosyth in the plans in the first place?
