Nobody going to turn it round this late, with those players. Here's a stupid question.

Did you honestly think we would win today?                                                  My answer would have been, a draw at best. They really are miles ahead of us.

With Kane playing a possibility. The team that started no. I’m in agreement they are miles ahead of us on and off the park.
it’s so frustrating the way the teams been ran this year from board level down. I’m sure I’m not the only one that agrees on that

Too late to change it now. New guy would have the same players to pick from. If we go down, we're back to where McPake started 2 years ago. If we do drop down, he would have to go.

The boy Sutherland must be raging not getting a game and Moffat too, summers held onto the ball far too long all game, McCann was useless when came on along with Holmes. Otoo at least trying to get forward. Why wait till end off the season to get rid I really can’t see him turning it round

The vast majority of them though are muscle tears, strains, ligament injuries etc, and these, to me, suggest that they have been impacted by load, rest, prep, warm up/cool down etc, ie the Sports Science side. That's the entire point of that area of the medical team, how much oversight has he, or indeed Meggle, given that area and asked questions of the data to try and ascertain why it is happening because this is a recurring problem. It can't all be down to bad luck.

Could be down to a smaller squad too, players having to play more as no replacements etc, less rest time, constant training, what they are doing in training.

not all down to smaller squad but I’d imagine takes its toll. I noticed last season players looked visibly knackered at start of season and same again at start of season.

does anyone know the state of your Andy Tod and his injury.

That’s where I disagree.. we are a top 4 championship team(without the injuries but McPake hasn’t been backed up) There is no way that team  is a league 1 standard at the moment.

It’s where we are now though regardless of injuries etc. where we have been for past few seasons

These are not credible managers tbh!

All the managers there have done well in their careers. Who do you think we should be appointing. Derek mcinnes, martindale, anyone that’s managed in recently in the spl?. Have to be realistic we’re potentially a lower end championship if not league 1 team.

  6. Just a few I can think off the top off my head.

tam courts local boy out off a job

kevin Thomson also out of a job

darren young doing a great job at stirling

dick campbell I’m sure he would love another go at full time and don’t think would take any ****e from the BoD

gary bowyer bit out there but got Dundee out the championship. Prob out our price range

lee bullen also out of job

sure there are other credible managers out there.

I seen on that pars community page that someone said that the money invested by the Germans isn't for transfers or wages? I would usually take it as gossip but was posted by the son of a director.

He’s a slaving hoor that boy, says a lot of things that are also not true. He was the one that started the thing about approaching John Robertson after Peter grant was sacked

I also was told other things, football related, but again linked to a lack of support. Can’t go into details, I’m afraid.

another question to add to my list for the patrons meeting

Could u post what is said at the meeting on here within reason. I’m sure the wider fan base would like to know the outcomes.

    Where about was that occurring?

What puts a magnifying glass on matters IMO is Raith getting a new ownership group and going from a poor championship side, into one putting up an incredible points total and if it wasn't for a Dundee United side posting up a two million pound loss, would be running away with the title.

Such talk of a ten year plan just seems a bit much in that regard.

Not for a lack of money either if our reported losses are to be beleived.

I agree with this. Have went backwards on the pitch. Bar last season winning the league at a canter. This season squad was up to standard at the start off the season and everyone could see that.

It’s taken for an injury crisis to seem like the board to act but have still only brought in one player in January.

I don’t believe what rovers are doing is sustainable but it is impressive.

I get the club are trying to develop but the results on the pitch are ultimately the business off the club.

I don't think we will see as many new faces as people expect. Money is very tight and about a month ago I was told by a mate to expect no new signings in January. Things have obviously changed since then with the injury list growing.

Hope ur wrong like, but looks that way with money, playing squad takes priority over training ground or any other projects or were sleeping walking to relegation again imo.

  11. Very poor today. We are far too slow to move the ball forward. The only time we did it today we scored. Mehmet is a bomb scare. The midfield has no fight in it and is over run at every opportunity.

jackubik is a player and does well but has no service off him. He’s sting and holds ball well but nothing around him to help. O’halloran would be aswell as calling it quits how he’s made a living out of football is unbelievable.

we need 2 cbs. A solid ball winning midfielder and a striker in January or we’re getting dragged into a relegation fight.

I also noticed liam Craig was helping with the warm up today along with another coach. Don’t think we need any other coaches and surely our scout should be elsewhere looking for players not at our game?

That is the truth though. I know for a fact contracts have been offered but players have more than one option. Citing other teams as having done it is comparing apples and lemons. We’re not them and they’re not us. Our dealings in the transfer market have been good since he came in so I think they deserve a bit more latitude and trust than they are being given.

Unfortunately like a lot of fans I am not in the know of what the club is doing. Hence the venting on an open forum.

I still think we are slow in the market and but the meggle interview in the courier sounds like too many people involved on our side in the negotiations for players.

I also think the club should be doing more to get the players they want into the club.

the fans have backed year on year. And a brilliant effort with season tickets, travelling support, lifeline, walk ups to stadium. This should be rewarded with signings that the team desperately needs.

im not saying the dealings are bad or that the club or manager are doing anything bad, but they are painfully slow at getting players over the line. What can be done to solve this as it’s not just this window it’s been since we were taken over.

Part of me agrees with you. But also, we heard that last year and romped the league, so... :-)

We’re also a lot weaker and smaller squad than last year, we have meant to have a budget but no sign of it being used. Also harder league not gonna be as easy as last year
