I think the concern rosyth par has with the level of performance is fair. We aren't good at home and it's actually been bit of a struggle. Someone can correct me but at home in the league we haven't scored a first half goal or been in front in the first half. We won't win any league just relying on 45 minutes. Away from home we seem much better

Think this will be a hard game we really could do with winning but I think a draw. I think we might draw a lot of games this season which is likely to be our downfall. 8 games unbeaten but it's not one where you feel overly confident about the next game

Appreciate that we can still sign free agents and loans but now that the official transfer window has closed what do we make of it? My own opinion is that it's not been good enough we have signed 5 first team player and only 2 of them are going to be first team regulars. We've signed a backup goalie and loan defender as backup and mochrie who will offer options. Way back at the end of the season Cook said we would have one of the largest budgets in the league. We've gone onto sell a good number of season tickets and strip sales have gone well confirmed by Cook and We've recently sold the naming rights for our great stadium so I don't believe we are skint. I also don't buy into all this nonsense about we can't attract players because we are in league 1. It's been poor very poor and it's not like we need a Nottingham Forest style transfer window just 2-4 additions and we have a fighting chance.

That's a fairly decent summary piracy pretty much what was said. One thing I'm kicking myself about is the chat around transfers mcpake said he is trying to sign the right sort of player players that want to come and play for the pars so is it not strange the loan player who seems to have let them down the offer is stil on the table. Should have asked that last night but you only think of these things after the event.

No we haven't signed Finlay Robertson it was in reference to him coming through the youth ranks at dundee and then getting first team opportunity

So what are folks predictions for the season ahead not only in league 1 but across the 4 leagues in Scottish football. League 1 Champions either Falkirk or Queens based on squad size. Montrose,airdrie and ourselves for the playoffs possibly Kelty and then the rest will be relegation/relegation playoffs. Premiership Champions a team from Glasgow and relegation one of the Saints. Championship Dundee or partick champions and relegation between Cove Rangers and possibly Hamilton. League 2 Champions Stenny and relegation Albion Rovers

When I look at Todd and Allen I just don't see them as anything other than squad players at the moment not the midfield duo that is going to see us challenge for any title.

I'd obviously like dunfermline to win and make it through to the next round as more funds for the kitty. But I think this game will be hard and a true test of this squad ability to maybe play against a team who will be organised and maybe defend is there enough craft in this team to break teams down I have my doubts

The squad is shocking unfortunately badly need new signings but you don't get the impression that's going to change anytime soon

aye both Dorrans and breen missed out on proper pre season and then suffered with injury and illness. Could be completely different with a proper pre season behind them.

Thought Dorrans had another year and does not appear to have played 500 games either
