GG Riva
When the present board took over, one of their stated aims was to make DAFC a focal point of the local community. Thanks to a suggestion from Kelty Par, a stadium tour of EEP, called ''Tours for Schools'' was born. It's coordinated by a good friend of mine, Dave Dawson and he is ably assisted by Kenny Arnott's dad, Stuart, Craig Brown our club photographer, Matt Ford from the club shop, Dave Allan and Margaret Miller. The video shows just how much the kids enjoy it.<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TY2MpwEFMDU>Don't you just love our club?
Deutsch Par
This will probably get a wider audience in the main forum so I'm moving it there. Great work being done by DAFC in the Community though.
GG Riva
Cheers Gordie, this is where I meant to post it. Still finding my way around on this site. When do I stop being a trialist and become a star player like Fu, btw?

Guest The Beer Baron
Agreed, the club is doing some fantastic work and should rightly be applauded, as should each individual involved. It's refreshing to see a football club trying to give something back, instead of bleeding all connected to it of resources, just to keep the status quo. There are only two clubs in Scotland who can take their supporters for granted, imo and the Pars are not one of them. By engaging local school children, we can hopefully at least slightly reduce the flood of fans heading for Glasgow every week.Your photo looks a bit fierce, btw. I wouldn't like to cause you to spill your pint in the pub................ :-)
