  1. The last time I witnessed a protest at/outside the ground was after our defeat at home to Cowdenbeath, managed by Jocky Scott. The fans anger was directed at the then board, presided over by Blair Morgan (if I remember correctly) It was more over the heart been ripped out of the club, by the same lot that gave us Iain Munro. Jocky Scott was part of our fall from the great community club, which had a massive support from only a couple of year's earlier. Btw, a lot never returned.
  2. I'm hoping nobody is gonna abuse Grant and the player's? This is the boards mess to sort out. Hopefully the board will spare him and themselves what they'll be surely expecting. I'm gonna go, but if nothing has changed, regarding management or performance, then I'll give matches a miss till such times.. But everybody different.
  3. He'll no be laughing, as his managerial days will probably be over. I'm sure the guy would've wanted to be a success, but obviously no cut out for it. He'll need to find another job at some point.
  4. I reckon he will still be hoping to turn it around. Maybe he blames the players.
  5. Talking about club blazers, I wouldn't be seen deed in one, as they're ****ing rank. It's hardly bespoke tailoring fae Savile Row.
  6. If Peter Grant is in the dug oot on Saturday, I won't boo him. Nae point. Chairman needs to put him out his misery.
  7. Dick Campbell a far better manager than (you can fact check it) Peter Grant. I'm no keen on his physical style of football, but it gets results. Get someone who can manage players and get some entertaining and decent results. Hopefully we won't promote from within again.
  8. Can we not give PG till Monday morning to clear his desk first ? 😆
  9. Has to be gone this week and someone else in charge of the team, till we find a manager to improve us.
  10. Don't think we'll need to. Surely the board have seen enough.
  11. Aye! Time for him to go. PG not cut out to be a Manager. Better going back to being a 2nd in command/coach or whatever his role was. Hopefully on Monday we can start a new man in post.
  12. Changed my mind. Give him and the players 45 minutes to change things. No need for the board to say they got it wrong, we all know that. Back shortly.
  13. If true, the board have to sort out player/manager grievances. Dae football clubs like ours have HR? Personally the board appointed PG, so it's their responsibility to fix.
  14. I predict a vast improvement, as the players and management surely have had a verbal battering. Cannae predict a score though.
  15. I never made the game, but was expecting the usual tough match from Arbroath. From what I heard was, the players heads went down, when falling behind. Improvement has to be priority in next few fixtures. Think I'll fire out to next home game to see for myself.
  16. I noticed on the poll on Grant, 2 voted for him to stay (myself being 1) I'd give him another 3 or 4 games to improve things. Not keen on sacking managers especially as he only 4 games in, or whatever it is. Hopefully the board, or whoever calls the shots has a word with the manager and players, to tell them it's not acceptable. He won't get to Xmas with the start he's had.
  17. Out of curiosity, what's the shortest tenure of a Pars manager?
  18. Did Jimmy Calderwood not lose 6 in a row at the start of one season? Although we were still playing no bad football. Sounds like Grant still needs to sort the goalkeeper solution.
  19. 11 point's behind the early pace setters, 3 games in. Fair to say winning this league gonna be difficult.
  20. I take it big Dick is still at the helm for Arbroath?
  21. I'm assuming this game will be televised again?
  22. We were the better team in the first 13 minutes 59 seconds.
  23. The bill has been paid. Game on.
