  1. I could see a draw. Reckon it might be similar to the ICT game, where both teams were trying to win. A draw might help morale, but not our league position. Maybe the players will be desperate to get a game again. I'll have a listen on the radio on Saturday.
  2. I think Petrie is performing wonders at Montrose. Think someone will take notice soon and offer him a job at a higher stage. Whether thats with us is another matter. Nothing to do with him being a former player. I wanted Jim Goodwin in the past, when at Alloa, but again, another club picked him up. There a few candidates that could probably improve us. I'd still love for us to all be wrong and PG gets a big win under his belt, but still can't see it. Maybe the board are looking at other options away from Scotland, regarding somebody not on the radar.
  3. I honestly cannae say I dislike the guy, I've never met him. Only arrogant manager I can think of is Jose Mourinho.
  4. We don't know that, or certainly I don't. I'm still angry about those gobbing ****ers that abused RM. Hoping they over 18, so they can be named and never to be inside EEP again.
  5. Thats fair enough, but the board will have to decide quickly. If we win next game, which we could, then sacking PG will probably be harder. I doubt he'll walk away, but stranger things have happened.
  6. But is he? This is how all this starts from charlatan, imposter, clown, to GTF in his face. If anything, he is out his depth on the managerial front ,whether we can afford to sack or not.
  7. Enjoyed the game. Israel were doing a lot of spoiling tactics, to try slow the game down. We left it late. Best team won. John McGinn is a real talent.
  8. I'm 100% sure he will be made more than welcome. He's a fan just like us, unlike the tossers who spat on him.
  9. I want PG team to win. Its that simple.
  10. He's making the best decision for himself and his family. Who'd want to put up with that abuse? He has always done what he thinks is best for the club. Time for Ross to have a hassle free life and thanks for all he has achieved.
  11. "The parallels between the situation of current coach Timo Schultz (43) and Meggle's situation in the second half of 2014 cannot be overlooked. A negative run of eight games without a win, just like now, led to Thomas Meggle being replaced by Ewald Lienen. “I can imagine how Schulle is doing right now. Being a coach in unsuccessful times hurts a lot, ”says Meggle. "That's why I'm very sorry for him right now." Sounds like Meggle knows what it's like to be in PG shoes just now. Think the article states Meggle was in charge for 13 games.
  12. Makes you wonder about people. Remember John Potter getting verbal abuse also in the past, outside a football ground. Hope they find out who did this and they get slapped about.
  13. I'm actually shocked that somebody would get that upset, to spit on a board member. It's just a football game, no the miners strike.
  14. So it's went from Grant oot tae McArthur too. I'll give that a miss.
  15. Read the statement again. It definitely Meggle, talking about working on the defensive and offensive tactics, regarding winning games and not losing goals. Can't surely be telling PG how to set up the team, or is he? The last bit, he says on behalf of the board about the abuse.
  16. Sometimes like going to see other teams playing, but never get that buzz when they score. Looks like it might be a while before we get a buzz along at EEP.
  17. Back on topic, I would imagine the winners are picked out a hat ,or however they do it. Don't think anyone would try and rig it, so someone could win a few more quid. I've never done the Lifeline myself. Thinking after board statement, it'll take a hit
  18. I listened to the reporter on the radio who said, 2 terrible teams and Dunfermline players don't look like they know what they're doing.
  19. Peter Grant must be under enormous pressure. Was disappointed seeing all the angry fans making their way along the terracing to harass him after the QOS game. He applauded the fans for, obviously turning up. I agree with the last bit of the statement too (the rest is awful) I only seen improvement at the ICT game. Doesn't sound like we were unlucky against QOS, but I wasn't there.
  20. Vote with yir feet, instead of protesting. Someone tell me if the team improves please. They've probably just hung oot PG to dry.
  21. It was said on Kingdom FM. Sounds like Kingdom looking for a quote from the Club and maybe that was the reply. Can't see someone on the board saying "We're going to have a meeting tomorrow, with a statement to follow"
  22. At the end of the day, a director of a club should try keep info in-house. I would imagine if he speaks to a 3rd party, then he would surely expect some discretion from that person. Hear loads of rumours sweeping around football forums, not so much on here though. I would take it all with a pinch of salt (he says, she says) type of stuff.
  23. Never trust someone who leaks personal/sensitive info, if true. No idea what has been leaked, but if it unhappy players, then that's only one side of a story. The board have backed PG, as in how many more games he's had, since most have been calling for his demise weeks ago. I feel sorry for the guy. Hopefully the new manager tells the players, you could be next.
  24. Maybe PG has been put on double secret probation.
  25. If he in charge for the next home game, I shall save £20. He's had about 1/4 of the season so far. I'm sure PG will accept that it's not worked out. Hope Ross has kept the pile of CVs in his drawer. Suppose they just have to finalise a pay off for PG. I'm 86% sure he will be gone. I was thinking (I know) Is there a worse manager in the Scottish Championship?
