I do not post this topic to have a go at Craig Wighton, he did okay for us last season in the first division. My worry is that he struggled to score in our last Championship season and at times never put in much if any effort. Lewis McCann did improve towards the end of last season but he has been with the club for a few seasons now and has not scored many goals in his time. Michael O'Halloran at age 32 has scored 5 goals since 2019 may not be the answer. We do however have better players around them that will help.

We have I think until the end of September to bring in loan players and I believe that's what will happen.

All our strikers are still in contract until at least the end of the season so none of them will be going anywhere. Todorov, Wighton and O'Hara are experienced strikers who should have been scoring plenty goals at this level but have not. Lewis McCann needs to score goals at this level because he has failed to do it in the championship. We need a ball winner in midfield.

Totally agree Piracy. The guy misses a penalty, and many fans turn against him. I hope they can now see that he is an asset to this team.

My thoughts at the start of the season was that we would run away with this league because we have 3 very experienced strikers who have all played at a slightly higher level. I also believe that Lewis McCann will have to score goals at this level because this is his level. Unfortunately our 4 strikers are all similar and need to play through the middle to score goals, Wighton and O'Hara are not wide players and everyone knows it. I assume that the manager plays this way to accommodate both players but I believe he does so especially to keep Wighton happy. The manager took him aside after substituting him on Saturday, I hope that he told him how bad he was but I doubt it.

Better communication can never be a bad thing and what the club are doing is a good thing. That is coming from a trained mediator so no arguing.

If you are a real ale drinker like me then the brewery owned pubs like Wetherspoons will be hard to beat. I recently paid £2.50 a pint for what they call guest ales. I expect to pay between £4.50 to £5 a pint now for anything else.

I thought that the trialist that played against Stenhousemuir wearing the number 16 strip looked half decent. He was certainly attack minded and was up and down the right wing all game. Anyone know who this trialist was?

I think that we have decent strike force at league 1 level. Three of the four are experienced strikers and should score plenty and hopefully Lewis McCann will score at this low level also. We don't need Griffiths but we do need at least one more half decent defender.

I think that we will win 6 nil.
