The title is the gist of the article. Looks like the manager feels he is a good player but isn't working hard enough when he loses the ball. Seems to state Thomas agrees and is now working harder...

This was the easiest start to a fixture list for us as well, not even got to the hard games yet.
Yeah, I noticed that as well. I'm kinda hoping we up our game being underdogs now but honestly I think it's more likely they will punish us more with the defence we have.

Were these particular fans being abusive? Because tbh if you dish it out you should expect to get some back.
If I was getting abused for something I would tell them to **** off as well.

Nah, not for me. I will just weigh up on a Saturday if I fancy staying in the pub for an extra 2 hours rather than making a protest/statement.

A lot of fans have been unhappy with certain people who are involved with the club for a while now, not just when we get beat.
That is definitely true

Three separate people have told me that someone at the club is trying to get rid of Mo Hutton, surely cant be true?
Not heard that tbh. There's allot of stories floating about that I don't know if they are true or not. These stories always seen to start floating about when things are going badly. Doesn't mean there isn't truth to them though.

I think Duncan was looking to step aside but I don't know him well enough to know the full story of it.
I just know it's changed and it's recently the club have decided on the replacements

35 years I think.
I believe there are other people lined up to take over the role with Duncan stepping aside. I think everything has happened recently so the new guys will just be formulating plans just now and might contact contributers shortly.

Closer to 10th than 4th as it stands
It will be 10th if the games I have seen are anything to go by

3 games. Morton who had the worst odds in the league at the start. Partick newly promoted and a part time team.
Scudded 6 without reply for the last two at hame.
We are utterly gash. Trying to play Dorrans as a sitting/defensive midielder is terrible. The goal keeper can't even parry it wide if he doesn't think he can catch/hold it. There was one point today a ball bounced up into the air in the 6 yard box and the keeper and 2 defenders just watched it and stood still. Luckily their striker had already given up on it and was heading back the way. We were also 3-0 down and an arbroath defender just stood still with no one pressing him.....then a long ball and they were in.
Only consolation is we did have some decent attacking play. But unless we sort out the defensive side of the game we could genuinely go down

Did Jimmy Calderwood not lose 6 in a row at the start of one season? Although we were still playing no bad football. Sounds like Grant still needs to sort the goalkeeper solution.
Aye. Was that not also to do with Scott Thomson the Goalkeeper having to play and was completely past it? Similarities are happening here, the keeper is making mistakes and that nervousness is going through the defence to the team as a whole.

If he sticks with this formation we will be annihilated by rovers, They play a quick tempo on that plastic pitch, our players look no where near the standard of being competitive in the middle of the park or in defence. The game isnt a must win, however if we end up being outplayed and outfought again I think Grants days will be numbered.

Here are some of the things I mentioned before from that era. I also have some proposal papers about the supporters council and the ideas forum that happened around that time but I'm not sure there will be of the same interest. (Sorry for the dodgy camera work). I actually have quite a few of the airdrie game fliers and the pars united launch night fliers if anyone wants one.

Seen Yorkston a few weeks ago in the town. He mentioned to the person I was with he would like to go back to a game at EEP. Not sure how well that would be received by the supporters tbh
I still have allot of the stuff from over that era. Like the ticket for the PJ malloys gig, the poster in the OP for the share issue. As well as pars alive posters etc. There has been some chat about doing an exhibition of some sort talking about what the club and supporters went through during that period.

I would have done(providing there wasn't loads) if I was going but can't make it unfortunatly.
It's a different set up this time with different tables with different people. Not sure it will be easy for someone to ask questions and report on here (like Buffy did previously).

I wouldn't describe myself as surprised by it. It is noteworthy to call him out in the press though especially after rumours of a bust up the previous week.
