East End Bounce Prediction League 2023/24
Prediction League Week 32 Scores
Sat 6th April
Airdrie 3 Morton 1
Dunfermline 1 Partick Th 1 (79/5572)
Inverness CT 2 Arbroath 1
Queens Park 0 Dundee Utd 5
Raith Rovers 2 Ayr Utd 1
TOP 5
1. Deutsch Par 39
2. David Shand 34
3. Scott Totti Hunter 34
4. Superally 34
5. Iain MacAuley 34
Golden Goal (79m) No Winners Crowd (5572) Eric Spaven
Massive game today at East End Park and the draw was well earned, but could it have been more. There was also some good points earned in the Prediction League too with Deutsch Par earning the plaudits and the top step of the podium with 39pts, well done to him. There were no winners of the golden goal with Kane's 79th minute goal, but Eric Spaven grabs the 5pt crowd bonus for the third time this season, well done to him too. Superally continues to lead and stretches his lead to 36pts from new second placed Ian MacAuley. The Roy Barry Fan Club moves into third spot. Jokers continue to make a difference to the scores and there is a few folk left to play there Jokers. Its worthwhile remembering there are only four games left and if you don’t use your remaining Jokers by the last game, you will lose them. Remember to check your scores and let me know if there are any problems and I’ll sort it out. Good Luck for week 33. COYP

Gald to see that the 50/50 ticket sales are returning to paper and will be available around the ground again. It was an utterly daft decision to make these only available as an online service. I will be spending my usual two quid in change for every home game.

Given all this rain and the forecast its looking very much like a pitch inspection will be needed for this one.

The Pars are the form team in the championship atm and with a 3 game winning streak they look to welcome Partick Thistle to East End Park in what will ultimately be a very tough game. Thus far the Jags have had the better of us with two wins, but on our last outing the Pars won 3-1 coming from behind with goals from Fagan-Walcott, Todd and Benjamin. Naturally, Graham scored for the Jags and controversially had one disallowed! The Jags bar a catastrophic crash in form have virtually assured themselves of at least third place in the table and are probably assured a playoff place. Hopefully The Jags have their eye off the ball sufficiently for the Pars to take advantage. In their last three games the Pars have found the net on seven occasions and conceded three. But after sailing through the first half in Arbroath The Pars were far to complacent and nearly threw away a three goal half time lead. Better levels of concentration will be required this time especially if we are not to concede to yet another Brian Graham goal. A win would be brilliant I think I would be happy taking a score draw. Hammy should be ok for Saturday. ?Can’t see Paul Allan making it but doesn’t appear too bad ?
Same starting 11 for me
Thats good, I think we would be better with Hammy in the middle - especially against Partick

Prediction League Week 23 Updated Fixture
Tues 2nd April
Arbroath v Airdrie
This is an updated fixture that everyone has made a prediction for. However if you wish to change you can do so.

The three points are all important, It might be a valuable lesson to the team not to take things for granted or be as complacent in the next match. The manner of the result might actually be good for us

It doesn't sound like McPake is happy with the 2nd half:

It's almost too dangerous to dream atm. Partick have probably got third spot. However for fourth all the teams contenting for a Promotion playoff place below the Pars have game on hand, however the Pars have points in the bag and they all have to play Dundee Utd and Raith Rovers. Airdrie have the toughest run in with most games and a few mid-week. Its going to be close at the end and we will probably have to depend on other teams results but ultimately it all depends on what we do. I see three wins and possibly a draw (10pts) in our five games, but you can work out the permutations for yourself
The Pars have 5 games:
Partick H
Airdrie A
Queens Park H
Inverness H
Ayr Utd A
Airdrie have 7 games:
Arbroath A
Morton H
Raith Rovers A
Dunfermline H
Partick A
Dundee Utd H
Queens Park A
Morton have 6 games:
Airdrie A
Ayr Utd A
Dundee Utd H
Arbroath A
Raith Rovers H
Inverness A
Ayr Utd have 6 games:
Raith Rovers A
Morton H
Arbroath H
Dundee Utd A
Partick A
Dunfermline H

That was a tremendous haul of points @Secure Par so well done. Usually when someone plays all five 🃏 it doesn't work out that well.

Hammy looked like he was out cold when he fell and never moved .. Glad they took him off for his own well being .. he has had some brutal challenges the last few games .. We were never quite the same without him .. Ref looked like he was in the movie's
If Hammy has been concussed I'm not sure if he will miss next weeks game against Partick which would be a blow. However because he already had a serious head injury with the cheek fracture there is no point in taking chances.

Prediction League Week 31 Scores
Fri 29th Ma
Ayr Utd 2 Airdrie 1
Sat 30th March
Arbroath 2 Dunfermline 3 (24/2139)
Dundee Utd 2 Raith Rovers 0
Morton 2 Queens Park 0
Partick 1 Inverness CT 0
TOP 5
1. Secure Par 58
2. David Shand 49
3. Andrew Mitchell 42
4. Ian Johnston 32
5. Al K 31
Golden Goal (24m) Scott Totti Hunter, Eggy Eggy, Jack Winter, Ian MacAuley, Ian Johnston, Al K, Digs, Superally, Secure Par, Andrew 283, lencarp, BusPassPar, Richey Rutherford Crowd (2139) Sea Bass
Three wins on the trot for the Pars who are hitting form at the right time. With 26 Jokers played this week some high scores were inevitable and it looks like Secure Par who fired a broadside using all 5 collected most by earning 58points the highest score this season piping Eric Spaven’s previous highest score by a single point so well done to him. 13 punters all earned a 5pt golden goal bonus and Sea Bass won the 5pt crowd bonus. With only 5 games left Superally is still in top spot but his lead is reduced to 15 points from Ian Johnston who has been showing incredible form with 11 top 5 finishes this season, The Roy Barry Fan Club and Ian MacAuley take third spot not far behind. However, as we have seen this week clever use of Jokers can make all the difference. Remember if you don’t use your remaining Jokers by the last game, you will lose them. Remember to check your scores and let me know if there are any problems and I’ll sort it out. Good Luck for week 32. COYP

Happy with the draw and would have taken the point beforehand. However I did think we were the better team so while I'm happy with the point I would have been delighted with three! Still that's a four game undefeated run and we are still the form team over four games. Airdrie next and if we play like that I think we could take the win and close the gap. COYP
