Didn't want Grant to begin with but when he was appointed I got behind him anyway. He has to go now though. That was diabolical yesterday. What's worse is that he didn't even apply for the job but our chairman called him up and went "Do you want the Pars managers job". Absolutely mental.

I seen Lewis Martin in the car park at Asda Halbeath on Wednesday. He leaped out the car sprightly and was laughing away with, what I assume was, his girlfriend. He looked in very good spirits.

Welcome CrossPar. I'm new to this forum too but it's definitely a better experience than dot net. I still have a look over there now and again, purely for a laugh. This is the only competition, the Pars are in, that I couldn't give two hoots about. Honestly never care how we do in it. I still usually go to any home matches but mainly for the pub before and after the match.

I assumed that the sell-on clause would probably have been no higher than about 20%. So when I got told it was "at least 30% but possibly as much as 40%" I was shocked. The only reason I gave it any possible credibility as it came from someone within the club at the time. Could still be wrong mind. Would terrific if it were true though.

Let's hope a bidding war starts if a few clubs are interested in him. I got told that the sell-on clause for the Pars was somewhere between 30%-40%. Pretty wild if true.
