Going into a harder league with a weaker squad is just unacceptable imo. No doubting we have good players but we only really have 12/13 first team players available atm
-
I’d be very disappointed if the ambition is just to stay up. A **** poor Queen's park team that finished 4th in league one went within a game of the title the season after (albeit made new signings). If our aim wasn’t a top 4 finish considering how open the league is then it’s quite poor. Keep hearing we want to get the club back to where it belongs etc, then got to hope the board show a bit more ambition than they are right now
-
Not sure relying on 17 year olds will get us a top half finish imo. These guys looked bullied in league one I'm not sure they’re ready for championship quite yet

1. Dundee United 2. Partick 3. Pars 4. Inverness 5. Airdrie 6. Ayr 7. Wee team 8. Queen’s Park 9. Morton 10. Arbroath

Agree with this. No signings and our 2 most creative players out injured does t bode well. Tough opening fixtures too so could be struggling if pick up any more injuries

Looks like it’ll be concession tickets bought online for away games then

Maybe the delay behind him signing then. Really need to get boys in. Bit of a joke going into a higher league with a weaker squad
-
Can see a photo of him in Airdrie kit from training, unsure how long ago that would’ve been
-
-
Can’t exactly blame little for wanting a loan move, he’s hardly going to improve sat on the bench all season long. Hardly given much chance
-
might need a new keeper now too…..
-
Good signing for them
-
How funny would it be if he’s keeping the identity a mystery and it turns out to be McGowan lol
-
Genuinely thought lack of options on the bench cost us today. We were very unlucky not to get something. Signings are now at a desperate stage when we are really down to the bare bones now
-
In papers now that David Wotherspoon is linked with us. He was at the game Tuesday too so imagine this one might be close to being agreed
-
After Saturday I see absolutely nothing to worry about with the rovers
-
Hearing that Matty has only went over on his ankle and shouldn’t be anything too serious
-
Strikers and wingers are in desperate need instead of more defenders

Defo need to add more but I do trust Mcpake as he always seems to make good signings
-
Honestly think another 3 maybe 4 signings and we are looking in a really good position IMO. McGowan I think has looked okay in pre season too and would expect him to sign now. Another striker, winger and maybe a centre mid as I agree don’t think Paul Allan is quite ready for championship yet
-
Aye defo agree with that. Give him the Annan game at home and Albion away for his full 90 mins and should bring him on for the league starting
-
Think o’hallaran looked good today and few good passes in the game. Get him up to speed and think could be a real asset for us

Out for a few months
