  1. Simple question. Do you agree that Jock Stein is a Dunfermline legend? Or are you sticking to your own list of three?
  2. I totally agree with you about Jock Stein. In my view Eddie Connachan is another Dunfermline legend. His inspired display in goal was a very important factor in our winning the Scottish Cup for the first time in 1961.
  3. I and perhaps some others will certainly not accept your interpretation of a legend. Jock Stein, for example, was a legend among our own supporters, not to mention among other clubs and our own national team. To suggest otherwise is simply crass nonsense.
  4. Nonsense. Longevity does not come into the equation. Today we have the sad news of the death of Jim MacLean, who captained the Pars in a Scottish Cup Final and was a fine defender when we were a force in Scottish and European football in our heyday in the 60s. Presumably he does class as a legend according to your categorisation?
  5. A legend is a player or manager who brought fame and success to our club. Jock Stein, Roy Barry and Eddie Connachan come into that category.
  6. Now 3200 season cards sold. Great support.
  7. Commercial manger? Some biblical link there?
  8. I remember the game well. The start of our adventures in Europe in the 60s.
  9. Too little, too late. He should go along with the board.
