  1. Fresh from the Manchester United Essex Armchair Supporters Club 🤣🤣🤣 Good afternoon to all fellow Armchair Red fanatics, it’s been a minute. After renewing our Sky Sports, BT Sports and MUTV season tickets, we expected to witness a historic quadruple winning campaign. To think we could see our beloved Red Devils and Giggsy both go down, sends shivers down the spine. Having gotten rid of Ralf Rangnick, the worst caretaker appointment since Ian Huntley, things were looking rosy and the feel good factor around the club was at fever pitch. What difference a week makes. Saturdays debacle against local minnows Brentford was a bitter pill to swallow, made 10x worse by Jamie Redknapp’s post match Anti Man United ramblings. If we were stranded on a desert island with Redknapp and a tin of Luncheon Meat, we’d genuinely rather eat him and talk to the Luncheon Meat. You do the maths. Saturdays drubbing was possibly the worst day of Christian Eriksen’s life and the geezer has died before. How on gods green earth has it come to this? We couldn’t get 3 points out of a triangle on current form. Thankfully, we’ve got the Scousers next, and they’re in deeper disarray than us at present, so we look forward to an easy 3 points and the silencing of our jealous rival fans. In case any of our haters have forgotten, or need reminding, we’re Man United we play on the floor. Hated adored but never ignored, Man United not arrogant just better. GGMU
  2. Some of the signings they’ve recently touted were utterly bizarre !!!!
  3. Its an incredible situation and a fine example of how important psychology is in the game - trying to get that squad thinking and fighting together looks a task too far for anyone ….. the changes made when Ferguson left in the structure of the club have also bitten hard - if they don’t do something fairly radical and soon it could be disastrous - will be very interesting to see how it all pans out….
  4. My neighbour met Rangnick on holiday and he pretty much said the team was unmanageable - that is pretty much clear for us all to see - but what do you do now - starting again with a new team is not an option……. A job for Ted Lasso perhaps…..
  5. Ferguson managed to win the League in his final year with a pretty mediocre team - the Club have imploded since he left - arguably a better squad now yet pitiful performance on all fronts - having followed them for 50 years I’ve seen it all before - but not with this amount of money being spraffed against the wall - its all about management …..
  6. Caught covid at our last home game and been struggling since - ****ed I’m missing this tomorrow 😢
  7. Its a phenomenal achievement 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
  8. I was invited to represent DADFC but sadly was unable to attend - the idea was to keep the numbers low and expect each of the representatives to report back to their group. The idea was to gather feedback from different groups perspectives and as such I think its a wise way to manage it.
  9. Listen here matey - at 4 foot 11 - I’ve been served for years in Charlie D’s - there are no age restrictions 🙂
  10. Looking forward to Charlie D’s on Saturday - its been too long…..
  11. I tried the new system yesterday and it works great - you will get 3 texts back to confirm your donation and ask about Gift Aid. We are just about to go above £50k in our Fund which is exciting ( 3 large donations recently totalling £4k ) so we are very near to our target of £55k ( which will need reviewing given we are 5 years on ) but its great to see what can be done - thanks to everyone for all your much welcomed donations …. Dave
  12. The old system has been binned - you will not have been charged for your kind donation. Here are the new details: You can now make donations by text to Dunfermline Athletic Disabled Supporters` Club (DADSC), and UK income tax payers can increase the value of the donation using Gift Aid. (Note - this replaces the information on this site last month, as users of some networks had been unable to make donations.)To donate £1, text DADSC to 70201 To donate £3, text DADSC to 70331 To donate £5, text DADSC to 70970 To donate £10, text DADSC to 70191If you want to donate more, you can do so online HEREPlease try it out, even just for £1, and you should then receive a text confirming your donation. A second text will ask if you want to donate this amount monthly but you can ignore this if you wish. Please let me know of any difficulties or problems. The legalities of how your donation by text is collected:DADSC is seeking to improve First Floor Access for those with mobility problems, and needs to raise funds for this and for other charitable purposes. Fundraising, payments and donations will be processed and administered by the National Funding Scheme, operating as DONATE, a charity registered in Scotland (SC045106). In addition to any text donation, you will incur your standard network message charge (based on your service provider rates). For Terms & Conditions, see HERE
  13. Aye but…….. he got the big things right……… how depressing is it to see these morons being interviewed on TV - the same kents that voted for Brexit en-masse - its awful 😢
  14. Possibly the most dangerous PM in the last 200 years - glad he’s gone - but what an absolute mess he’s left behind - this country has been destroyed by the tories in the last 12 years - god knows what comes next……
  15. Fantastic news 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
  16. I’m with you on this one - anything or anybody who can promote the fantastic work done at AMC is doing something right in my book….
