  1. I cannot echo these sentiments enough - not only has he been a stalwart in rescuing and keeping the Club afloat - he has pumped endless hours of effort and passion to many of the groups around the Club - on top of that he’s a thoroughly decent and honourable man - the support he has given to me in recent years is unmeasurable…….

I wont say too much on here but incidents at two away games in the covid season led to me not having much time for them. They shouldnt have treated fans the way they did.

I know they’re not everyones cup of tea but if you’re not careful you end up with public abuse and much needed financial backing for the club walking potentially away ….

  3. Just watched tonights heartbreaking news special from Ukraine - the scenes from the childrens hospital on the outskirts of Mariopol were grim in the extreme. They need our help there more than ever - this shirt initiative is a much needed gesture among thousands of others.

Anyone grudging this type of help needs to have a good hard look at themself…….

  4. 12-20 March: CAFE Week of Action

This week it’s the CAFE Week of Action 2022 for disability awareness, run simultaneously in dozens of countries by CAFE (Centre for Accessibility to Football in Europe).

The CAFE Week of Action is supported every year by DAFC and DADSC (Dunfermline Athletic Disabled Supporters’ Club), and at half-time during the Morton match on Friday evening there will be some special activities trackside, at the corner of the Norrie and North-west Stands.

We’ll be welcoming to EEP a squad of disabled athletes from Fife Athletics Club, including local Paralympian gold-medallist Owen Miller MBE. Last year Owen won the T20 1500m gold medal at Tokyo, and you can see his fantastic gold medal run  HERE. Owen will be joined trackside by Jim Leishman MBE, after which all the athletes will parade in front of the North Stand – we know the Pars fans will show appreciation for their efforts.

And if you’re watching on ParsTV don’t miss the footage at half-time about the CAFE Week of Action and the athletes, filmed at Pitreavie.
