  1. The Pars could only ever succeed as a fan-owned club if an effective fans' organisation existed to challenge the Club. By definition the Club is an employer and a business. The people involved want to wear the blazer, wear the club tie, sit in the Boardroom, and not suffer interference from fans. It's not their fault, it's who they are and it is what it is. The fans need to organise to have an effective voice and force the Club, the employer, the business, the Board, to take note and to act in accordance with fans' wishes, or at least take fans' wishes into proper account. Trade unionists know this relationship well. Employers need to be held to account in all circumstances, including football. I've tried to explain this over the years and I've failed. Probably because we were all primarily focussed, obsessed even, with just saving the Club. We saved the Club but we didn't create a structure, at all levels; from fans to the Board plus CIC Board, to make the team successful. That's why we don't have a successful team. I welcome the KDM Group investment. Well done to the Jones bros. However we're lacking an effective fans' organisation to hold the Club to account, and it shows on the park nevermind the name of the park.
