  1. I'd take 2 points right now.
  2. Can only speculate. But off top of my head the larger items would be: Playing salaries Bonuses? Legal and starting costs for Rosyth Higher staff costs as we increased the staff count Increased energy costs? Whatever way I look at it, a 1m loss is an absolute farce without concrete numbers explaining the size of it.
  3. But it's their business model that's causing the loss. Its their bloody fault in other words.
  4. Everyone has too much respect for these weekly predictions to steal your thunder.
  5. 3 0 Pars. Kane, Edwards and an own goal. This is huge, not "must" win but seriously, if we want to stay up we have to win these games.
  6. This was quite astonishing I have to admit. I thought it would be very nervy, lots of Alamo style defending but actually, it was incredibly comfortable and could have extended our lead. I hope they take that new found confidence into tonight's game, there's absolutely no reason why we can't go there and win.
  7. Bit annoyed as I will miss this. But predict a comfortable away win. I think Jak might come on to seal it for us.
  8. Definitely. Those 3 available were scoring far more goals and conceding fewer. Ergo more points.
  9. I thought Benji, Holmes and McCann all struggled last night, despite one scoring, one hitting the post and the other hitting a decent fee kick. We go into a Tue/Sat/Tue/Sat run of games, we need everyone being ready to kick on from here now. How good was it being able to bring on Moffat, Jak and Welch? Makes a huge difference when you can bring on a little bit of quality.
  10. Great performance all considering. First half, we played well in spells but left a lot of gaps for Thistle to find, bit frustrating. But we were competitive which is the first time I think I can say that for ages. Aye we needed some luck tonight but what team doesn't at times? Walcott I thought played well, Otoo was fantastic throughout. Todd was a sensation, and shout out to Allan who looked decent, also putting in some great set plays. I hope we can build some momentum from this and stay clear of further injuries. Having a strong bench clearly helped too.
  11. Fully expecting a complete doing. Will avoid this once again, its not enjoyable in any way watching us right now. If we get Ashcroft in beforehand, I'll consider it but for now, I'm out.
  12. I think the priorities are all screwed up. I like the idea of an academy and training facility in house, but it should only be implemented after we've established ourselves in the top flight. The income disparagy between tiers 1 and 2 is huge, never mind 3. The fact we're facing League 1 football again with this project choking us of income needed for the first team is unacceptable.
  13. Well, I'd approach him if I were looking for a manager. Don't blame him if he is done with first team responsibility though, the pressure and stress must be stupid.
  14. Jack Ross. I'm sure he'd love another punt at management instead of coaching Newcastle youths.
  15. We've gone a whole quarter without beating any of the sides in the league. I thought these 3 home games represented a chance to put some breathing space between us and the bottom, perhaps even gaining a little traction towards 4th. Instead, we are possibly in a worse state than under Hughes at this point. I don't see us winning another game at this rate. Too many passengers in the squad just not good enough. On the bright side, Kane on the highlights looks a decent find. IF Ashcroft or another experienced centre back can come in and organise that back line, and we somehow stay up, he'll be labelled a hero and rightly so.
  16. I just wish they had done this last week against QP. It sounded a very frigid performance. We need everyone in that squad, in the club to be standing up, demanding better and going out and at least trying to assert ourselves.
  17. I'm worried if he can't seem to motivate this squad. But it feels strange if that's true because you only have to look at both away games at Airdrie last season to see examples of how we fought to the (not literal) death. Has something changed? I dunno. Everything is worrying right now though, or I might be projecting my own inner concerns out through this.
  18. Sometimes looking like you care is almost as important as actually caring. Fans need to know that we're not being led by someone who has given up.
  19. Eh, nobody has forgotten that i am fairly certain.
  20. Then I hope you run out of toilet paper at the critical moment sir.
  21. 1 day down this week, no new experienced signings.
  22. To stay up we're going to have to start winning games. That doesn't look like happening anytime soon.
  23. I've long thought that. He'd be a very good player in a team full of energy and making runs. We're far too pedestrian and he often has no attacking runs to try connect with. He tries to bring composure to our game, but it isn't effective when we're a slow, plodding bunch of chimps.
