  1. Shields was raving about him last year saying he's got a lot of potential.
  2. Possibly Ashcroft? Could move both Hammy and Otoo into midfield, something like Grant mentioned above.
  3. I think the general consensus out there is that the club and the general fanbase have distanced themselves from a small crowd of clowns.
  4. My expectations are sod all, so anything incoming is a lift. Got a general feeling that our recruitment process might even be slower than other clubs. We just seem to be behind the past few windows. Could be a wrong impression.
  5. 3-1-4-1-1-1 Whilst playing 3 in goals.
  6. Absolutely. The prospect of going back down would scupper ANY long term planning we're making. And it is a possibility, no denying that right now.
  7. Our youth setup has for too long been utterly mince. Good to see that it's been given proper attention.
  8. We need a minor miracle of some unforeseen flood or freeze. P-P would be a great result.
  9. Probably can't even get a 5 a side game going in training right now.
  10. I'm a big fan of Wighton but if we're asking (at times) our lone striker to drop so deep, it's concerning a bit. We're scunnereed for goals, I'd be happier to see us being a bit more direct in our home games at least. I think Jak is decent too, but I see them both as "secondary" or support forwards, whatever, rather than all out goal scorers. Finding someone that's the perfect foil for either of these two would be brilliant.
  11. Yup, quality was the word branded in the summer. Now it has to be numbers, we simply need more bodies to feed this live action Final Destination scenario.
  12. A won would be absolutely tremendous in the circumstances. Nor sure what expect from QP.
  13. Some people just love to wade in even when they don't have a scoob. Such is the pathetic mindset of some.
  14. Fearful of tomorrow. Could well be another multiple goal skelping.
  15. Hope you're not talking about ours, you're our only listener!
  16. Bit of everything needed. That's a reason why last season was such a success in my eyes, we constantly had the spine or the first 11 available. This season its been plugging holes from the off. When we're still 4th after all that, it's not all doom and gloom.
  17. Your last part is bang on I reckon and I put myself in there too!
  18. Yup, they completely fckd it when Rangers died. The levels of self interest ahead of our game as a whole are wholly myopic. A quick buck or a longer term stronger game? When push comes to shove, there's only ever been one winner.
  19. People who want them gone are kidding themselves. If they upped sticks and played in another league, they'd still get all the attention and our game would be properly thrown aside as a complete after thought. All our major media outlets would start treating (even more so than now) our leagues as equivalent to Wales and Ireland. Nah, getting rid isn't thr answer. Pushing through a more measured, balanced and fair set up of our complete game is what's needed.
  20. Another nail in the coffin of football below the mega rich. Long term this could seriously damage Scottish football as a whole not to mention other leagues and their members. Just another sickening widening gap between rich and the rest.
  21. Wild, he looked more than capable against us.
  22. Nobody mentioned Matty Todd's effort that the keeper tipped onto the bar. THAT was a save! Very, very impressive despite it being near post. Could do with that kind of stuff between the sticks.
