Been doing some comparisons to where we are now and where we were after 11 games in previous seasons we've won the league.  Not a lot of conclusive evidence to report thus far, Jim Leishman's teams were slow starters but managed to pull it together.  Any youngsters reading might like to note that before the 94/95 season there was only 2 points awarded for a win so that skews Leishman's figures a wee bit.

At this stage in the second division in 1985 we sat two points behind Queen of the South who had a far superior goal difference but we had only lost one league all season and hadn't yet lost at EEP.

Onto the first division in 1988 we had suffered 3 defeats in 11 matches, 1 of them an uncharacteristic doing from Meadowbank (now Livingston) at EEP.  We sat in 3rd place behind Morton who fell away quite badly and finished 5th.  We all know the rest now, don't we?...

Bert Paton's entertaining team sat at the top of the first division in October 1995, 2 points and 8 goals ahead of Dundee United in a very strong league, that had many twists and turns, ups and downs to come.

Jim McIntyre's Pars side boasted a 100% home record at this stage in the promotion season of 2010/11 with away form slightly erratic and sat 1 point behind Raith Rovers 1 goal better off.
