He is showing a disrespect not just to Grant but also the club, they told him not to go and he ignored them.

The club have disrespected him asking him to work under a fraud, ignoring his and other players frustrations and backing a proven failure.

I’d be very angry if I was being asked to play under tactics that were blatantly wrong and being talked down too and thrown under a bus by the manager in public.

There must be a huge amount of sympathy for the players just now, yes they might not always react correctly but they’ve been put in a horrible position by the board.

There’s a reason several players have commented on the poor decisions of the manager,  it’s not because guys that were good pros last year have suddenly decided to change their ways, it because the guy in charge of them is a absolutely terrible at his job.

Hopefully when the new guy comes in they will jettison these so called problem players out the door.

There will be no need. Guys like watson have been good pros under proper managers for 10+ years.  Like under kenny any rift between players and management quickly end when the fraud they are asked to work for gets emptied.

I go to the football to be entertained. I was entertained yesterday.

I go wanting my team to win.  They didn't and needed a last minute goal to draw. This should be recognized as another week of embarrassing failure. Draws are ok if your winning regularly,  when your not they shouldn't be accepted.

We have gone a full round of fixtures without a win.   That should always result in a manager being booted.

if watson has lost respect for the manager you can't blame him. It's a very difficult situation for defenders when they are looking at clear faults in our tactics that are leaving them hung out to dry.  Clearly if rumours of going on holiday are true that is a problem,  but a problem created by the manager playing horrific tactics, bad mouthing players in public and expecting them to not to react.

Players not respecting our management have my full support.  They are doing the right thing.

  5. I’m not calling him a f***y cos we’re just playing badly, I’m calling him that cos it’s how he comes across.

We’ve had people I don’t like be successful with us, people I like be successful ,   People I like be unsuccessful and people like grant who are neither a good at their job or have a decent personality.

We don't know that, or certainly I don't.

I've not seen anything to suggest that Grant is particularly arrogant either.

You guys serious?  every single interview he gives his arrogance shines though,  the guy thinks he's far better than what he is.    Right from him declaring his CV would blow everyone else away.  He's a jumped up f***y and needs to be kicked out the club ASAP.

Peter Grant is responsible for the bad results.  He's in no way responsible for the abuse of Ross McArthur or the vandalism of his property. That's solely on the shoulders of the perpetrators.

My understanding is that Grant is an enthusiastic guy who loves football. I've no doubt he has plenty of dignity but also plenty of self-belief. I think he believes he can turn this around and doesn't want to walk from a job having not won a league game.

It’s not self-belief he has, it’s outright arrogance.

He's still here as they didn't want to punt a manager after 4 games of the season - despite how dreadful 3 of them were.

Since then, it's been slightly better, so they're giving him an opportunity to turn it around.  I'm not convinced he will, but it's little to do with not listening to fans.

We've gone from absolutely dreadful to better, but still quite ****e.  That's not the standard any of us should accept.

No board with any sense is going to listen to fans in regards to stuff like this and neither they should, no matter whether they are right or wrong. Fans form an opinion on the only thing they see and that's what's on the park

I get the board need to take a step back from the heat in the moment fans have,   but what a manager achieves on a matchday is by far the most important thing they can do. We're nearly a 1/4 of the way into the season and he's failed, badly, at that.

  9. I'm still confused why he's still here tbh. Not going to waste my energy shouting for it tho, its clear the board don't want to listen to fans and will keep him going as long as they can get away with it.   Even if we win the next 2 we have had a dreadful opening quarter.  My only hope is we can get squeeze out enough points out of grant that 8th is achievable once we bring a proper manager in.

I take it you didn't read the rest of the sentence then? He literally did that in his interview last week. Spoke about their mistakes and things they got wrong, which he'd be an absolute idiot to try and deny but then still try and protect the players by saying there were other things to take into consideration.

Have you seen any other interviews? He’s repeatedly thrown the players under the bus.  I doubt he’s suddenly decided to protect them, protect himself far more likely.

  11. An issue in sticking with a similar format(at the same tine, on the same day) every meeting is eventually even those able to attend start to get bored. Perhaps it could be an idea to pursue different markets with different meetings. I think 3/4 meetings a year is reasonable, but they could target different aspects of our fanbase,  1 taking a quiz night aspect, 1 meet the manager style another sportsman dinner format(call it a club dinner) etc. Even if most only attend 1 of those meetings. Transform 40-50 regulars into 300 attending at least 1 meeting a year.
