I hope McPake can recognise that KRH shouldn't be playing RWB ever again. That Matty Todd has looked lost for weeks and pretty much all our attacking threats look isolated and easy to defend against. Josh Edwards getting down the left from a wing back role seems to be our only chance of getting behind defences. Kane is isolated ( he does well at ruffing centre backs, but imagine how ineffective Wighton will be at that when he's back to being our main striker), McCann ineffective coming off the left. The plan of attack was pretty poor even in league 1 and it's just highlighted more in the championship.

There has to be a lot of thought over the summer as to how we are going to attack teams more effectively and what kind of player we can bring in to help that improvement, but right now we a very boring team to watch.

Hopefully he also realises that he also looks lost in the middle of the park. If we are going to persist with the shape he seems to want to play then we really need to recruit for this shape rather than bring in players like O'Halloran who have no place in the system.

  2. Hopefully we can move on a few of the under contract players out. I wouldn't mind seeing Kane and MFW here next season.

Edwards will be tough to replace if/when he leaves, been pretty solid player for us(just wish he could learn to put in a decent cross more than once a game).

Hopefully we see the midfield 3 of Otoo, Todd and Hamilton a bit more next season.

  3. 2 really good chances early in the half, been poor since. Standing off and letting them pass the ball about. Lucky they are dreadful and offering nothing upfront so far.

Feels like a typical end of season game just now

Airdrie played well and deserved their win.

2 absolutely awful goals to lose and our subs we’re absolutely wild, we got worse with every one. you can understand the need to gamble with it being a must win, there needs to be some cohesion.

Season vertically over, got to learn our lessons from this one and have a better one next year.

The half time subs were a total shambles btw

    Ended up with no midfield
