  1. I hope they can do something at HT before the last crowd of the season. It's a fantastic achievement from the youngsters that should be marked in front of the home support. A lot of credit goes to the management who kept faith and didn't flood the team with seasoned pros.
  2. Tonight's Reserve Cup Final team news. COYP:

  4. Its the Reserve Cup final tonight at the Toni Macaroni, Cant make it but hoping the Pars take home some silver. COYP
  5. Two games left and while mathematically we still need a point to be “safe” and be assured of not slipping into a relegation play off place. Sadly, the rather bland performance last Saturday allowed Morton to move above the Pars into 5th spot which should be a viable target for the faithful. This Saturday the Pars welcome Big Dunc’s ICT to East End Park for the last home game of the season. This is not a meaningless fixture by any circumstance and Inverness will be highly motivated to take points up the A9 on Saturday evening. The Highlanders sit 8th in the table above Queens Park (who face Arbroath) and 5 points behind the Pars. Recent form suggest the Pars are favourite’s only losing one game in the last six and Inverness losing three of their games over the same period. Inverness last outing was a narrow 1-0 defeat against Raith where they could be considered unlucky - whereas the Pars last outing was a draw, and recent efforts fall into the bland category It would be great if the Pars go out with a bang and take all three points, but Inverness have more to play for and quite a formidable defence behind them I suggest a low scoring draw is the likely outcome. 6. @Grant A group from the EEB were in Hospitality yesterday. Our thoughts are that its very good and we are looking to do similar next season. A three course meal with Coffee & Tea. Table service from the bar with pies and sausage roles at HT with tea & Coffee (No alcohol at HT). There is a bar with table service at FT. Leish does his bit as compare and there is a guest - yesterday it was Westie. Its up to you to determine if its good value - I think so. £60 for ST holders and £75 for Non ST Holders. Kids are welcome
  7. The rest of the team voted by players were: Callum Ferrie Jack McMillan Kevin Holt Scott McMann Josh Edwards Adam Frizzell Craig Sibbald Sam Stanton Louis Moult Brian Graham Ruari Paton
  8. Good to see Josh Edwards making the PFA Championship team of the year. Well deserved

Andrew 283 24 Golden Goal (0m) Crowd (5123) Andrew 283 It was a frustrating and dull affair at EEP today but the outcome of which suggests that the Pars are safe from a relegation play off. There are no relegation play off places in the prediction league where its winner takes all. Todays podium is shared between The Saline Hill Puma and Deutsch Par who blagged 27pts each. There was no goal scorer, but Andrew 283 takes home the 5 point crowd bonus so well done to them all. With two weeks left Superally continues to lead the table by 27 points from Deutsch par who moves into second place following some decent form in the run in. End of season games are notoriously difficult to predict so its still open season on the final placings – add in some decent Jokers and there is time for changes across the whole table. Only two games left and remember if you don’t use your remaining Jokers by the last game, you will lose them. Remember to check your scores and let me know if there are any problems and I’ll sort it out. Good Luck for week 35, it’s the penultimate week!. 11. Good result for the Pars tonight, Raith have actually done us a favour. A draw tomorrow should see us safe from a relegation play off place. However i want the 3pts and 5th
  12. You have to love when a thread goes off subject - Brilliant
  13. Just a wee shout to remind folks that there is a game on tomorrow night so make sure you don't miss out and get yer predictions in early. COYP
  14. I'm thinking when Hamilton is not in the midfield we tend to be run over and we don't quite have the combative players to challenge it. Otto is good but when Hamilton and Otto were playing a defensive roll it was clearly evident that we struggle in the middle of the park. Probably why our striker(s) are so isolated
  15. Really saddened to hear of the passing of Davie Moyes (68) who was one of Leishman's first signings. An absolute monster of a player and hard as nails. Not to be confused with Davie Moyes (Mk2) who went on to managed Everton, Man U and West Ham. A great fans favourite in a time when players were rolling around the ground there was good reason and Davie Moyes had his fair share. Sad news RIP
  16. That transfer deal gutted me and the insult of receiving Roddy Grant and Lindsay Hamilton as part of the deal even more so. Not sure about Andy Rhodes but I believe O'Boyle was offered a signing on fee when he joined the Pars and it was never forthcoming. The club was utterly strapped for cash at the time and those two were the only real saleable assets the club had. Dom Thomas was a player with undoubted talent and the utter incompetence of the "management" at that time didn't help. However the player did himself no favours either and his attitude was evident - someone who could be a comfortable premiership player yet would make Stephen Simmons look international class when he couldn't be bothered. I have no objection for players seeking better pay, but I expect players to perform consistently to the levels the management and fans expect from them.
  17. Any word on Alex Jakubiak, nothing the managers pre and post game comments?
  18. While a mathematical 4th play-off place is still available most Pars fans have consigned themselves to finishing in the top half and looking to consolidate a 5th place in the table. However, the Pars have it all to do in the remaining three games and this Saturday there is much to prove at EEP against Queens Park. With Arbroath relegated, the Spiders sit 9th in the relegation play-off spot 6pts behind the Pars, Indeed all is not lost for the Spiders and the mathematical permutations suggest they could also climb up the league but for them to do so they must take 3pts on Saturday. The Pars need a single point to ensure they are safe from a relegation play off place but the faithful will be looking for all 3pts towards securing a 5th spot. The attitude and focus of the players is essential as this is not an atypical end of season meaningless game there is much still to play for and for Queens Park even more so. Undoubtedly Queens Park have the ability to do some damage having already beaten the Pars twice this season. Hopefully Hamilton will be fit to return to the midfield as the past two results has proven he was missed and that should ensure a tough 2-1 home win. COYP

Thomas Irvine 29 Golden Goal (60m) Jack Winter, Sea Bass Crowd (2393) Superally Disappointing result for the Pars today where we now have to look over our shoulder. However, there were some cracking results in the Prediction League with Craig Dougs MacAuliffe taking the plaudits with a storming score of 39pts. Joining him on the second step of the podium is Jack Winter & Sea Bass who won the 5pt golden goal bonus. Superally wins the 5pt crowd Bonus. At the sharp end Superally continues to lead the table for the 28th week but his lead is reduced to 25pts from Ian MacAuley in second place. Deutsch Par now moves into third spot with only three games left. Jokers still continue to make a difference to the scores and there is a few folk left to play their Jokers. It’s worthwhile remembering there are only three games left and if you don’t use your remaining Jokers by the last game, you will lose them.
